Viens no paņēmieniem, kas ļauj ērti un efektīvi iegūt informāciju ir tās meklēšana meklētājprogrammā, lai gan mūsdienās to ir diezgan daudz un izgūtā informācija ne vienmēr ir atbilstoša lietotāju vēlmēm. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kura no trim meklētājprogrammām – Google, Yahoo un Bing ir kvalitatīvāka, fokusējoties uz lietojamību un derīgumu, kā arī salīdzināt tās savā starpā. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, tiek pētītas meklētājprogrammas izmantojot verbālā protokola un anketēšanas metodi. Pētījums balstīts uz mijiedarbības trīs komponenta modeli, aplūkojot lietojamību un derīgumu no lietotājorientētas novērtēšanas pieejas. The role of age and emotional valence in word recognition: an ex-gaussian analysis

[Otro] Cie¿om práce je posúdi¿ vplyv veku a emo¿nej valencie na znovupoznávanie slov v rámci ex-Gaussových distribu¿ných komponentov. Dvom vekovým skupinám sme administrovali test znovupoznávania slov, v ktorom sme manipulovali emo¿nou valenciou. U mladších respondentov sa prejavili štatisticky signifikantné rozdiely pri negatívnych slovách v experimentálnej podmienke a v podmienke s distrakciou. U starších respondentov sme v odpove¿ových ¿asoch nezistili jasnú tendenciu. Targeting NUPR1 with the Small Compound ZZW-115 Is an Efficient Strategy to Treat Hepatocellular Carcinoma

International audience; HCC is a highly lethal malignancy with Sorafenib as the only molecularly targeted drug. The multifunctional stress-associated protein, NUPR1, plays an essential role in controlling cell growth, migration, invasion and Sorafenib resistance in HCC. We report here that NUPR1 expression is absent in healthy liver and it is progressively upregulated in HCC premalignant lesions such as hepatitis and cirrhosis with a maximum expression in HCC samples, highlighting that NUPR1 is a potential drug target for HCC. Fuzzy formalizations of cognitive distance

Spatial training process allows more and more precise informations to be collected and memorized. The aim of this article is to describe a three steps training process based on three fuzzy formalizations of cognitive distance associated to three different types of informations : (1) expression of a linguistic relative distance based on fuzzy relation of closeness or/and remoteness, (2) expression of a linguistic absolute distance expressed by primary linguistic terms like short or long and (3) expression of a fuzzy metric absolute distance. A fourth part is devoted to expression of precise correspondance rule between linguistic and metric opinions described below.
