La medida despertó la indignación de diversos actores conservadores: políticos, obispos y líderes de organizaciones católicas. The evolution of Italian cinema in the first half of the twentieth century is intertwined with the historical events that marked Italy in the period between the two world wars: the coming to power of fascism and the rise to power of Benito Mussolini. Its protectionist policy favored the growth of the film industry that, in few years, created new forms of representation and made cinema a popular and mass art with a great pedagogical impact. El presente texto toma a su cargo el estudio del único film de propaganda que el Departamento Nacional de Cinematografía de la España Nacional realizó en la inmediata posguerra (1939) para dar cuenta de la figura de José Antonio Primo de Rivera. Sobre un fondo de duelo y con la preeminencia de los elementos políticos sobre los militares, ¡Presente! reivindicaba el legado del líder de Falange en una clave cercana a la del culto a los muertos que caracterizó a los fascismos europeos, pero en clave sintomáticamente religiosa.

This article deals with the series of re-appripriation and re-editing of twe single images produced by the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War: the one representing the execution of the statue of Christ at the Hill of Angels at the end of July-beginning of August 1936, and the one depicting the desecration of the mumies of nuns taken in Barcelona the same month. Both in photography and in film support were the object of propaganda purposes from the Francoist side and even they appeared in Nazi and Italian Fascist footage. The chapter traces its transformation until the present.

Kā piecu gadu desmitu garumā, kad Latvija bija PSRS okupācijā, šie notikumi tika pasniegti, attēloti un aprakstīti padomju historiogrāfijā? PSRS bija totalitāra valsts ar spēcīgu ideoloģiju. Pēc šīs ideoloģijas tika mērīta visa pasaule un tās vēsture. Īpaši pašas PSRS un tās esošo republiku vēsture.
