The present work outlines the natural, historical and cultural values of the selected fragment of Silesian Przesieka located in the southern part of a locality called Miejsce (the former town of Schwirz) (Świerczów municipality, Namysłów сounty, Opole Province, Poland). Here, the natural values are also mixed with unique historical, cultural and landscape values. The authors reconstruct the original riverbed of the Stobrawa River using a Digital Elevation Model. Effetti spaziali o settoriali? La crescita della dimensione media d'impresa in Italia

Utilizzando una recente versione della shift-share con struttura spaziale, in questo contributo scomponiamo il cambiamento della dimensione media delle imprese nelle province italiane rispetto a componenti di natura sia spaziale (di regione e di vicinato) che settoriale. L’analisi, condotta con riferimento al periodo 2004-2009, mette in risalto differenze di rilievo rispetto la classe dimensionale considerata. In particolare, si registra una netta demarcazione Nord-Sud nella distribuzione provinciale degli effetti spaziali e settoriali se consideriamo le micro imprese (1-10 addetti), mentre la geografia appare molto piu complessa per le piccole imprese (11-50 addetti).

El artículo pretende documentar una serie de monedas visigodas de oro y bronce encontradas fortuitamente dentro de la provincia de Cáceres, todas ellas de forma aislada y en solitario. La procedencia exacta de todas las piezas no se conoce del todo, aunque están circunscritas con seguridad a Cáceres. Además, dos de las monedas son inéditas: un triente pseudo-imperial a nombre de Justiniano I y un tremís de Égica y Witiza procedente de Acci. Distribution and development of European late Hercynian intermontane troughs and associated volcanicity are related to an upper mantle diapir which formed above two subduction zones during the Hercynian cycle of orogenesis. Lateral spreading of the diapir caused regional extension of the previously folded crust and enabled tholeiitic magmas from the upper mantle and rhyolitic magmas from the lower crust to reach the surface.

Nyamulagira, in the Virunga volcanic province (VVP), Democratic Republic of Congo, is one of the most active volcanoes in Africa. The volcano is located about 25 km north-northwest of Lake Kivu in the Western Branch of the East African Rift System (EARS). The activity is characterized by frequent eruptions (on average, one eruption every 2–4 years) which occur both from the summit crater and from the flanks (31 flank eruptions over the last 110 years). Due to the peculiar low viscosity of its lava and its location in the floor of the rift, Nyamulagira morphology is characterized by a wide lava field that covers over 1100 km2 and contains more than 100 flank cones.
