Esta Tesis Doctoral tiene una finalidad esencial: la de servir de ayuda y soporte para Profesionales de la Salud y su futura intervención (sea de tipo Médica y/o Psicológica), con pacientes afectos de vitíligo. Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir “Emociju izraisošu filmu klipu datubāzes - EMDB” adaptācija Latvijā. Klipi iedalīti 6 kategorijās, kas balstās uz multidimensionālo emociju modeli. Pētījumā izmantoti divi pishometriskie instrumenti: SAM (Self-Assesment Manikin) Pašnovērtējuma manekena anketa un I PANAS SF (International Positive and Negative Affect Schedule) Pozitīvo un negatīvo afektu skala. Tika izvirzīti divi pētījuma jautājumi: vai latviešu izlases psihometriskie vidējie atbilst oriģinālās metodes rādītājiem? Kāda ir korelācija starp valences un pozitīvās un negatīvas afektu skalas rādītājiem? Pētījumā piedalījās 134 universitātes studenti no Latvijas Universitātes. Tika secināts, ka pastāv …

Interest in studying teaching practices has increased, because of the need to evaluate teachers and dissatisfaction with the usual ways of doing it. Recent approaches with Value-Added Models, based on students’ results on achievement tests do not seem satisfactory. The article is based on a review of literature and classifies the approaches to practices in three groups: instruments based on information given by teachers; observation protocols; and approaches based on the analysis of products of the practices. Communicating voice emphasis in harpsichord performance

We investigated the means used by harpsichordists to communicate voice-specific melodic emphasis. Twelve harpsichordists were asked to perform a short Baroque polyphonic piece by Frescobaldi (1583-1643) on a harpsichord equipped with a MIDI console. Three conditions were tested, each requiring performers to emphasize a particular voice in the piece (soprano, alto, tenor). Four parameters were analyzed: velocity, note onset asynchrony, timing deviations, and articulation. Mean onset asynchronies were much larger than those observed in organ or piano performance, averaging more than 100 ms between outer voices. El objetivo de este estudio es describir de manera detallada las características de la voz eufónica o normal, a través de parámetros acústicos de corta duración y electromiográficos de superficie. Procedimiento: Los datos se obtuvieron de 146 sujetos de habla hispana (72 hombres y 74 mujeres) entre 20 y 50 años de edad sin alteración vocal, previo cálculo del tamaño de la muestra. Las muestras vocales fueron clasificadas audioperceptivamente como voces normales (G = 0) por 3 expertos en el área de la voz. This chapter tackles the question of interpersonal understanding from the point of view of so-called “moments of meeting.” Coined by Daniel Stern and his colleagues, this term refers to specific and particularly intense experiential situations, where two (or more) persons attune to each other’s affective experiences, thus “cocreating” an experiential area that exists to these two individuals exclusively—a “shared private world,” as Stern puts it (Stern, 2004). Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin sijoitettujen lasten vuorovaikutussuhteita koulussa. Tavoitteena oli selvittää, millainen on sijoitetun lapsen opettaja-oppilassuhde, millaisia lapsen vertaissuhteet ovat lapsen, opettajan ja sijaisvanhemman näkökulmasta sekä millaisia ovat eri tahojen tekemien arviointien yhteydet. Tutkimukseen osallistuneet lapset olivat mukana Pesäpuu ry:n toteuttamassa, sijoitettujen lasten koulunkäynnin tukemiseen kehitetyssä SISUKAS - interventioprojektissa, joten tutkimuksen yhtenä tavoitteena oli myös selvittää intervention aikana tapahtuneita muutoksia.
