Biochemical bases for a widespread tolerance of cyanobacteria to the phosphonate herbicide glyphosate

Possible non-target effects of the widely used, non-selective herbicide glyphosate were examined in six cyanobacterial strains, and the basis of their resistance was investigated. All cyanobacteria showed a remarkable tolerance to the herbicide up to millimolar levels. Two of them were found to possess an insensitive form of glyphosate target, the shikimate pathway enzyme 5-enol-pyruvyl-shikimate-3-phosphate synthase. Four strains were able to use the phosphonate as the only phosphorus source. Low uptake rates were measured only under phosphorus deprivation. Recopilé el presente material del 30 Congreso Federal del PSOE, celebrado en Madrid el 13-16 diciembre 1984, al que asistí como observador, como base de mi investigación sobre la historia del socialismo [PSOE y PSPV-PSOE]. Aquí se recogen varias publicaciones editadas con motivo del XXX congreso, así como documentos orgánicos del PSOE [Resoluciones, reglamentos, Estatutos, etc.], para que puedan ser útiles a estudiantes, investigadores, y personas interesadas en el tema. Translational animal models for studying post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are valuable for elucidating the poorly understood neurobiology of this neuropsychiatric disorder. These models should encompass crucial features, including persistence of PTSD-like phenotypes triggered after exposure to a single traumatic event, trauma susceptibility/resilience and predictive validity. Here we propose a novel arousal-based individual screening (AIS) model that recapitulates all these features. Quantum Real - Time Turing Machine

The principles of quantum computation differ from the principles of classical computation very much. Quantum analogues to the basic constructions of the classical computation theory, such as Turing machine or finite 1-way and 2-ways automata, do not generalize deterministic ones. Their capabilities are incomparable. The aim of this paper is to introduce a quantum counterpart for real - time Turing machine. The recognition of a special kind of language, that can't be recognized by a deterministic real - time Turing machine, is shown.

1.5QTM is a sort of QTM (Quantum Turing Machine) where the head cannot move left (it can stay where it is and move right). For computations is used other - work tape. In this paper will be studied possibilities to economize work tape space more than the same deterministic Turing Machine can do (for some of the languages). As an example language (0i1i|i ≥ 0) is chosen, and is proved that this language could be recognized by deterministic Turing machine using log(i) cells on work tape , and 1.5QTM can recognize it using constant cells quantity.

Tras el 31 congreso federal del PSOE de enero de 1988, se celebraban los congresos de las federaciones. El comité nacional de 24 de octubre de 1987 aprobaría el informe de la gestión de la ejecutiva del PSPV, con 86 votos a favor, y 11 en contra que, como era habitual, eran los de Izquierda Socialista. International audience; The three-event stack cotton GHB614 x T304-40 x GHB119 was produced by conventional crossing to combine three single events, GHB614, T304-40 and GHB119. The genetically modified organisms (GMO) Panel previously assessed the three single cotton events and did not identify safety concerns. No new data on the single cotton events that could lead to modification of the original conclusions on their safety were identified. Based on the molecular, agronomic, phenotypic and compositional characteristics, the combination of the single cotton events and of the newly expressed proteins in the three-event stack cotton did not give rise to food and feed safety concern.
