Système de détection d'anomalies d'aspect par la technique PTM
2011
This documentation details the creation of a support system for the detecting visual sur- face anomalies . This work is based on a technique called Polynomial Texture Mapping (PTM). This technique allows to highlight appearance anomalies by varying the position of the light source. It also makes possible the calculation of the surface topography. This system was designed during the first quarter of 2011 in the SYMME laboratory (Laboratory for Materials and Mechatronics), and is a part of the European research program INTERREG IV. This program aims to enhance a strength of economic activity on both sides of the border France - Switzerland : the realization of high-value products (watches, au…
Post-translational Modifications in Plant Nuclear Signaling: Novel Insights Into Responses to Environmental Changes
2019
Just imagine a Plant Science professor in front of a classroom full of interested and attentive students. Imagine what their answers to this intriguing question would be: “What are, according to you, the functions ensured by the plant cell nucleus?” It would be very surprising if some of them would answer cell signaling in response to biotic and abiotic stresses or developmental processes. Most of them would probably answer according to a classical point of view: DNA replication or gene expression. Hence it is still admitted in recent publications (see for instance Fedorenko et al., 2010) that molecules smaller than 40 kDa can diffuse freely across the nuclear envelope pores. However, Pauly…
Allocation of Ambipolar Charges on an Organic Diradical with a Vinylene-Phenylenediyne Bridge.
2021
Two redox and magnetically active perchlorotriphenylmethyl (• PTM) radical units have been connected as end-capping groups to a bis(phenylene)diyne chain through vinylene linkers. Negative and positive charged species have been generated, and the influence of the bridge on their stabilization is discussed. Partial reduction of the electron-withdrawing • PTM radicals results in a class-II mixed-valence system with the negative charge located on the terminal PTM units, proving the efficiency of the conjugated chain for the electron transport between the two terminal sites. Counterintuitively, the oxidation process does not occur along the electron-rich bridge but on the vinylene units. The • …
Comprehensive analysis of interacting proteins and genome-wide location studies of the Sas3-dependent NuA3 histone acetyltransferase complex
2014
Highlights • We characterise Sas3p and Gcn5p active HAT complexes in WT and deleted TAP-strains. • We confirm that Pdp3p interacts with NuA3, histones and chromatin regulators. • Pdp3p MS-analysis reveals its phosphorylation, ubiquitination and methylation. • Sas3p can substitute Gcn5p in acetylation of histone H3K14 but not of H3K9. • Genome-wide profiling of Sas3p supports its involvement in transcriptional elongation.
