This article consists of two chapters. The first one presents an outline of the history of the convent in Czarnowąsy and objects of historical value situated therein. In the second chapter, the author mentions several issues related to the convent (which used to belong to the Norbertines) that still offer open fields for studies: the historical value of the short story “Uparte mniszki” by Zofia Kossak; Paweł Szotarewicz’s dedication to Baltazar Gerbert, the architect of the so-called House of Nuns; and the hypothetical visit of the then 29-year-old King Frederick the Great to this “House of God”.

Interoperability of e-government systems is suggested to increase transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer service in the public sector. Generic data models are often seen as a way for achieving especially semantic interoperability. Adapting to a Global Health Challenge: Managing Antimicrobial Resistance in the Nordics

This article explores the adaptation of Norway and Sweden to one of the major challenges to global public health, antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Guided by assumptions derived from institutional theory, the article investigates whether, and, if so, how the AMR problem has affected the two Nordic countries’ administrative systems and frameworks for Nordic cooperation. The article builds on selected literature, expert interviews, and public documents. The findings suggest that the international impact on Norway and Sweden’s managerial adaptation to AMR is limited.
