As burial registers corresponding to a fully excavated funeral assemblage are rather rare, the present study endeavours toexamine both wrritten data and bone remains from a chape frequented during the 17th and 18th centuries. The disparity between thepopulatiom described by the two types of sources, particularly concerning the proportions of children in each, would encourage us toreconsider wiith caution the evaluation of burial groups based on bone assemblages which are not informed by written sources. Analysisof the latter will allow us to evaluate more accurately just how representative the archaeological evidence is with respect to the overalloccupation of a given site.

W artykule opisano liczący 81 pozycji inwentarz muzykaliów kościoła pw. św. Jana Chrzciciela w Jodłowie na ziemi kłodzkiej. Zbiór składał się w większości z łatwych do wykonania utworów przeznaczonych na czterogłosowy chór mieszany z towarzyszeniem orkiestry lub organów. Miejscowy zespół wokalno-instrumentalny dysponował m.in.: 34 mszami (w tym sześcioma za zmarłych), siedmioma zbiorami graduałów i ofertoriów oraz dziewięcioma litaniami. Dużą grupę muzykaliów stanowiły różnego rodzaju opracowania chóralne pieśni kościelnych, zwłaszcza maryjnych i pogrzebowych. Purpose: Overcome some drawbacks of the widely applied Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) related to the use of a rating scale for respondent’s judgments and propose a new method to prioritize alternatives based on web surveys. Methodology/Approach: We use the response latency, i.e. the time taken to make a decision, to replace the rating scale in the pairwise comparisons which is a fundamental part of the AHP procedure. A method combining the AHP with a mathematical model for the response latency is proposed in the paper. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää, minkälaisia selviytymiskertomuksia yleisaikakauslehtien henkilöhaastatteluissa rakennetaan. Aineisto koostuu kerran viikossa ilmestyvistä yleisimmistä aikakauslehdistä, joita ovat Anna, Apu, Seura ja Me Naiset. Loka-marraskuun 2010 aikana selviytymisestä kertovia artikkeleita löytyi lehdistä yksitoista kappaletta. Selviytymisen kriteereiksi määrittelin kipeän menetyksen, rankan vastoinkäymisen tai trauman. Research on handicrafts has generally concentrated on the study of urban artisans and guilds. However, not all artisans operated in towns, nor were rural artisans always small marginal groups. For instance, the majority of Finnish artisans lived and worked in the countryside. They had the right to take on apprentices; therefore, most rural artisans received their training from artisans working in the same environment. This article characterizes apprentices in the early nineteenth century in Finland and studies how rural artisans organized their occupational training. Abstract The history of the parishioners’ right to participate in and influence the choice of local clergy in Sweden and Finland can be taken back as far as the late Medieval Times. The procedures for electing clergymen are described in historiography as a specifically Nordic feature and as creating the basis of local self-government. In this article the features of local self-government are studied in a context where the scope for action was being modified. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań empirycznych dotyczących percepcji kryptowalut wśród młodych uczestników rynku finansowego. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w 2019 r., przed wybuchem pandemii COVID-19, niemal równocześnie w dwóch krajach: w Polsce i w Niemczech. Celem tych badań było uchwycenie różnic w sposobie postrzegania walut krajowych, światowych walut rezerwowych oraz kryptowalut, a także różnic w poziomie zaufania do dotychczasowego systemu finansowego na świecie. Some Investigations on Similarity Measures Based on Absent Words

In this paper we investigate similarity measures based on minimal absent words, introduced by Chairungsee and Crochemore in [1]. They make use of a length-weighted index on a sample set corresponding to the symmetric difference M(x)ΔM(y) of the minimal absent words M(x) and M(y) of two sequences x and y, respectively. We first propose a variant of this measure by choosing as a sample set a proper subset (x, y) of M(x)ΔM(y), which appears to be more appropriate for distinguishing x and y. From the algebraic point of view, we prove that (x, y) is the base of the ideal generated by M(x)ΔM(y).
