In recent years, the percentage of the population owning a smartphone has increased significantly. These devices provide the user with more and more functions, so that anyone is encouraged to carry one during the day, implicitly producing that can be analysed to infer knowledge of the userâs context. In this work we present a novel framework for Human Activity Recognition (HAR) using smartphone data captured by means of embedded triaxial accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. La presente investigación tiene como finalidad describir cómo la ciudadanía ha contribuido a la elaboración de un Diagnóstico Territorial de Empleo (DET) promovido por la Generalitat Valenciana, previo al diseño de futuras políticas públicas para el fomento del empleo, en tres municipios alicantinos. Se consiguió a través de una Investigación-Acción-Participación (IAP). Problematizing the environmental democracy: Can online eco-citizen participation rescue the institutional participation? The rise of the digital society came with a series of hopes picturing a liberating technology. At the same time, political institutions call for a better integration of citizens in the public affairs’ government. Knowing that this injunction to participation does not generate a massive mobilization, to what extent can online discussion platforms help to give new life to citizen participation? This issue will be brought up through an analysis of Community Management in a socio-technical perspective, as a part of our PhD Research Program.

La investigación que presentamos estudia el impacto de la intervención sindical en materia de salud laboral, en lo que se refiere tanto a la gestión preventiva y creación de una cultura participativa como en los procesos de vigilancia y control de las condiciones de trabajo.
