Enamel remineralization and surface roughness after treatment with herbal-containing toothpastes

Background Oral care products containing bioactive agents obtained from extracts of plant drugs were launched. This in vitro study investigated the effects of herbal-containing toothpastes associated or not with fluoride to remineralize the enamel after cariogenic challenge with pH cycling. The chemical and physical factors of toothpastes and the enamel surface roughness after brushing were also analyzed. Powierzono mu stanowisko proboszcza, ponieważ posiadał odpowiednie walory moralne i doświadczenie w pracy duszpasterskiej. Początki jego pracy były trudne ze względu na mały i znajdujący się w złym stanie technicznym kościół oraz niski poziom religijności mieszkańców. Udało mu się pozyskać odpowiednie środki na budowę nowej murowanej świątyni. Głównymi jej fundatorami byli Franciszka i Maciej Płaczkowscy. Hereditary spastic paraplegias (HSP) constitute a rare and highly heterogeneous group of neurodegenerative disorders, defined clinically by progressive lower limb spasticity and pyramidal weakness. Autosomal recessive HSP as well as sporadic cases present a significant diagnostic challenge. Mutations in AP5Z1, a gene playing a role in intracellular membrane trafficking, have been recently reported to be associated with spastic paraplegia type 48 (SPG48). Our objective was to determine the relative frequency and clinical relevance of AP5Z1 mutations in a large cohort of 127 HSP patients. Background To evaluate in vitro the influence of daily brushing with the use of natural toothpastes on the color change of enamel in bovine teeth. Material and Methods Four dentifrices were used, one conventional Colgate Total 12 - Clean Mint (G1), and three natural, Contented Toothpaste with Organic and Natural Ingredients (G2); Dental Toothpaste (G3) and Aliv-Gaia Toothpaste (G4). Background This study aims to compare the effectiveness of topical fluoride application, a toothpaste containing synthetic hydroxyapatite with one containing calcium sodium phosphosilicate (CSPS) in remineralizing enamel after the debonding process. Material and methods The study constituted experimental laboratory research incorporating posttest-only control group design.
