A polybutyleneadipate-co-butylenetherephthalate (PBAT) sample, commercially known as Ecoflex®, was processed via melt extrusion with CaCO3 nanoparticles coated with a hydrophobic coating. Blown films of PBAT and two composites with nanofiller (2% and 5%wt) were prepared and degradation tests in soil at 30 °C up to 180 days were carried out with weight loss measurements. Furthermore, biodegradation test according to ISO 14851 was carried out at 30 °C. The effect of CaCO3 on soil burial degradation was assessed by surface wettability and SEM. Intergenerational fitness effects on offspring due to the early life of the parent are well studied from the standpoint of the maternal environment, but intergenerational effects owing to the paternal early life environment are often overlooked. Nonetheless, recent laboratory studies in mammals and ecologically relevant studies in invertebrates predict that paternal effects can have a major impact on the offspring's phenotype. These non‐genetic, environment‐dependent paternal effects provide a mechanism for fathers to transmit environmental information to their offspring, and could allow rapid adaptation. Striving for greater economic growth, requires a great understanding of the underlying factors. One of the factors may be the intellectual property rights and the level of its protection. Whether it is and how does it behave are the questions answered by this thesis. The theoretical framework comes mainly from the Schumpeterian growth model. The empirical methodology uses GMM in order to obtain reliable results. Resumen tomado de la publicación El presente estudio pretende examinar el papel predictivo de la percepción de la educación paterna por parte de los hijos, en el consumo de diferentes sustancias (alcohol, cannabis y tabaco) durante la adolescencia. Método: Se administró un cuestionario anónimo desarrollado para medir la cantidad de sustancias consumidas en una semana y el tipo de educación percibida de sus padres, así como diferentes variables personales. La muestra estaba compuesta por 1378 sujetos, con edades comprendidas entre los 13 y los 19 años. El análisis se realizó a través del Modelo de Regresión de Poisson.
