Surgical Treatment on Subungual Osteochondromas in Paediatric Feet: A Case Series Study

Subungual osteochondroma (SO) is an infrequent and non-malignant bone tumour of the distal phalanx, especially prominent in paediatric populations. The aim of this research was to describe a case series of paediatric feet with SO which received surgical treatments. The secondary purpose was to compare these descriptive data by sex distribution. Objective: To describe the role of Anales de Pediatría in highlighting Spanish paediatric research, and to identify the journals with which it competes internationally. Material and method: Spanish paediatric articles, including those from Anales de Pediatría were identified using the Paediatrics category of the Science Citation Index (2010–2014), and their volume and document type was analysed. Purpose: To analyze the coverage and main bibliometric indicators of Anales de Pediatría in Scopus and Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science (SCIE) databases. Material and method: The evolution of the journal production was identified according to the document types, collaboration indexes between authors and institutions, and citations, and impact indicators (number of citations, impact factor, 5-years impact factor and without self-citations, Scimago Journal Rank, quartile, h-index and most cited works). El dolor abdominal crónico genera multitud de visitas tanto en Atención Primaria como en el hospital. El trabajo muestra cómo puede ser enfocado este proceso en la consulta de Atención Primaria. Nosotros planteamos pautas diagnósticas del dolor abdominal crónico mediante analítica y estudios de imagen individualizados según las indicaciones. Nuestro objetivo es iniciar el diagnóstico y el tratamiento del dolor abdominal crónico, convirtiendo la consulta de Atención Primaria en consulta de alta resolución para esta patología.
