Oxidative stress is a major hallmark in Alzheimer’s Disease. We showed that amyloid beta (Aβ 1-42 ), induces mitochondrial oxidative stress. We focused on dysregulations of ubiquitin ligases in Alzheimer’s and their relation to oxidative stress. Abstract A transition in the bacterial growth rate to below maximum was found to be an optimum parameter of cellular physiology to increase the activity of acetohydroxy acid synthase, a regulatory enzyme in l -valine synthesis, and amino acid overproduction by Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC 13032 recombinants under batch and fed-batch cultivation conditions. Abstract It is of great importance to understand the molecular characteristics and substantial chemical transformations due to yeast-yeast interaction. Non-targeted metabolomics was used to unravel must in fermentation composition, inoculated with non-Saccharomyces (NS) yeasts and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (S) for sequential fermentation. ultrahigh-resolution mass spectrometry was able to distinguish thousands of metabolites and provides deep insights into grape must composition allowing better understanding of the yeast-yeast interactome. Six strains with more than 99·5 % 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, identical internal spacer region profiles and restriction analysis of the amplified 16S rRNA gene patterns were isolated from fermenting grape musts during independent studies carried out in France and Spain many years apart. Strains are Gram-positive, motile, facultatively anaerobic rods that do not exhibit catalase activity and have the ability to utilize pentose sugars (ribose and/or l-arabinose), although they are homofermentative bacteria.
