2006
Between the IVth and the XVIIIth century in Burgundy (Nevers to Vezelay area), the number of pilgrimage churches have increased with an important renewal rate. Indeed, the choice of saints, institutions, or objects of devotion depends on various references. Adapting the framework and updating hagiography to the evolution of piety are means of preservation against disinterest and decreased gains. What is miraculous or not is changing and depends on unstable religious and social settings, therefore it becomes necessary to consider both important and sustainable sites than short-lived ones and vain attempts to develop a pilgrimage site. By resorting as much as possible to the original document…

Comparison results for Monge - Ampère type equations with lower order terms
2003
In this paper we deal with Monge-Ampère type equations in two dimensions and, using the symmetrization with respect to the perimeter, we prove some comparison results for solutions of such equations involving the solutions of conveniently symmetrized problems.
Structure and activity of the nitrate-reducing community in the rhizosphere of Lolium perenne and Trifolium repens under long-term elevated atmospher…
2004
Rhizosphere soil was sampled in monocultures of Lolium perenne and Trifolium repens in June and October 2002, at two different nitrogen fertilisation levels (14 and 56 g N m−2 year−1) and under two pCO2 atmospheres (360 and 600 ppmv) at the Swiss FACE (Free Air Carbon dioxide Enrichment) site. Directly extracted soil DNA was analysed with restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) by use of degenerated primers for the narG gene encoding the active site of the membrane-bound nitrate reductase. The corresponding enzyme activity of the nitrate reductase was determined colorimetrically after 24 h of anaerobic incubation. The narG PCR-RFLP fingerprints showed that the structure of the n…
The Concept of Religious Pluralism in a Globalized World: An Analytical and Comparative Study of John Hick and Hossein Nasr's Theories
2023
As a researcher and author in the field of comparative religion, I have dedicated my academic journey to the study of philosophy and religion. It is through this pursuit that I have developed a deep passion for expanding my knowledge and understanding of various religious traditions, beliefs, and practices. My academic pursuits have granted me the opportunity to delve into the intricate complexities of different religious systems, exploring their historical, cultural, and philosophical dimensions. I find great fulfillment in unraveling the mysteries and nuances of religious texts, rituals, and the diverse ways in which individuals and communities express their spiritual beliefs. For me, the…
Nasal provocation testing as an international standard for evaluation of allergic and nonallergic rhinitis.
2005
Standardized nasal provocation testing (NPT) has been shown to be a safe and very useful tool in the diagnosis of allergic and nonallergic rhinitis. However, in the United States, its use has been mostly limited to scientific investigations, and it has not yet been widely accepted as a standard diagnostic procedure in clinical practice. NPT aims to identify and quantify the clinical relevance of inhalant allergens or occupational irritants. During NPT, nasal respiratory mucosa is exposed to an airborne substance suspected to cause symptoms in the respective individual. Clinical reactions are monitored in a controlled and standardized fashion. Nasal secretions, symptoms such as itching, snee…
IL MITICO PONTE SULLO STRETTO DI MESSINA. DA C. METELLO AI NOSTRI GIORNI
2011
