Fue en diciembre de 2009 cuando vio la luz el primer número de la revista IMAGO. El proyecto, liderado por el presidente de la SEE, Rafael García Mahíques, contó con los consejos y sugerencias de Víctor Infantes, quien ya acudió a la reunión anual de la SEE de 2008, celebrada en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, con el borrador de un número 0 que finalmente se transformó en el número 1 de la publicación. Su compromiso con esta revista quedó reforzado con la publicación de dos trabajos en la primera y segunda entrega, y en su abierta disponibilidad para acudir a cualquier llamada. ABSTRACT: In 2016, an anthological exhibition of the work of the painter Victoria Cano was held at the Centro del Carmen in Valencia. The exhibition was entitled Ecos y huellas.Desde el Trastevere al Carmenand it was sponsored by the Consorci de Museusde la GeneralitatValenciana. It brought recognition to the long and distinguished career of one of the best contemporary Spanish artists. Victoria Cano's talent allowed her to enjoy a two-year research scholarship at the Academia Española de Bellas Artes de Roma in the early 80's. ABSTRACT: Taking as a point of departure Juan de Horozco's definition: «las emblemas se pueden hazer con figuras solas, como es más ordinario o con figuras y letras que siruan de mote, y esto es, porque la emblema quanto más guardare las propiedades de la empresa tanto será mejor según yo entiendo y juzgara qualquiera» (f. 64v), this study analyzes the presence and function of dramatic emblems in the plays of Agustín Moreto y Cabaña and other Spanish Golden Age Dramatists.
