Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is the most common idiopathic interstitial pulmonary disease with a median survival of 3–5 years after diagnosis. Recent evidence identifies mucins as key effectors in cell growth and tissue remodeling processes compatible with the processes observed in IPF. Mucins are classified in two groups depending on whether they are secreted (secreted mucins) or tethered to cell membranes (transmembrane mucins). Secreted mucins (MUC2, MUC5AC, MUC5B, MUC6-8 and MUC19) are released to the extracellular medium and recent evidence has shown that a promoter polymorphism in the secreted mucin MUC5B is associated with IPF risk. Selvoppfatning er av betydning for faglig framgang og kreativitet. Hensikten med denne studien var å beskrive forandring av selvoppfatning hos en gruppe sykepleierstudenter i løpet av sin treårige bachelorutdanning. En studiegruppe med 127 sykepleierstudenter ved en norsk høgskole besvarte et spørreskjema i første og siste studieår. Skalaer for måling av generell selvoppfatning og regelbevissthet samt spørsmål om bakgrunnsvariabler inngikk i spørreskjemaet. Analiza sekwencji kilku loci nosząca nazwę barkodingu, została wykorzystana do identyfikacji gatunków roślin występujących w środkowoeuropejskich zbiorowisk traworoślowych. W toku analizy przebadano użyteczność 14 regionów chloroplastowych i jednego jądrowego do identyfikacji gatunków. Osiem spośród nich (matK, rbcL, rpoC1, trnH-psbA, atpF-atpH, trnL, psbI-psbK i ITS) wykorzystano do stworzenia kombinacji barkodów, które umożliwiają określenie tożsamości próbki tkanki roślinnej o pochodzeniu łąkowym, bez konieczności porównania z kluczem do oznaczania roślin.

PURPOSE To evaluate the agreement between different parameters obtained with 2 swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT)-based biometers and 1 Scheimpflug camera with partial coherence interferometry (PCI). SETTING Single center, Oftalvist, Alicante, Spain. DESIGN Prospective case series. METHODS Biometry was performed in 49 eyes using 3 optical biometers: ANTERION SS-OCT, IOLMaster 700 SS-OCT, and Pentacam AXL PCI.
