It is empirically contested whether the phenomenon of presidentialisation, i.e. the concentration of power around the leading political positions in non-presidential systems, is taking place or not. This study sets out to investigate whether presidentialisation on the executive arena takes place in a collegial political system, more specifically in Norwegian municipalities. Using several independent empirical data in the period from 1992 to 2012, the main conclusion is that there are few traces of presidentialisation on the Norwegian local level. The aim of the study was also to find out how the student teachers understand the meaning of a key demonstration that would show the main features of the phenomenon. During this study eight chemistry student teachers were invited to write a lesson plan on the topic of electrolysis for lower secondary level, grade 8 pupils (age 14 to 15). Als Masstab fur diesselbe galten die Hamoglobin- und Erythrocytenregeneration und die Gewichtszunahme anamischer Ratten. Maternal inconsistent socialization: An interactional pattern with maltreated children

Most child abuse episodes take place in the context of child-rearing conflicts. Parents show a lack of competence in appropriately solving these conflicts, producing an escalating phenomenon which eventually ends in verbal and/or physical aggression towards the child. The main purpose of this study is to test the role of inconsistent socialization in the development of prolonged dyadic coercive exchanges. A search for approaches that can positively connect migration with development in migrants’ countries of origin has begun in Europe along with a new perception of the phenomenon of migration and a response to change in the cycle of movement. Pressure has intensified in the last few years during which Europe has set up higher barriers against the arrival of new migrants, and the living conditions for those already settled have become more harsh. Awareness of the intensification of (northward) migration – which is not always in answer to the labour market’s needs – has shifted the search for ‘solutions’ towards the countries of origin.
