The International Open City Summer School of Piacenza 2015 involved the participants in the design of a spread museum of the agriculture between rural and urban areas, crossing the old town of Piacenza. The submitted project, processed in that workshop, is an occasion to call in question the different scales of the design and some linked themes like the measure, the porosity and the permeability of the architecture and the town. Every year since 2010 - between the end of August and the beginning of September - OC OPEN CITY International Summer School means a fantastic collective experience. In the crossing between cardus and decumanus we can easily sum up the settlement of Piacenza; upon this scheme we can overlap a complexity made up of the several historical layers leading to the modern urban shape. This complexity can be seen as a sequence of limits, beyond which the urban fabric totally changes: these are the Po line, the XIX century walls, the highway. La investigación relaciona dos sitios reales, La Reggia di Venaria Reale en Italia y el Palacio Real de Aranjuez en España, confrontando su desarrollo histórico y arquitectónico, las obras de restauración llevadas a cabo, los criterios para su inclusión en la Lista de Patrimonio Mundial y su uso hoy en día como museos. El estudio comparativo muestra cómo ambos palacios se usaban inicialmente como residencias de caza en lugares con abundancia de agua y pesca.
