Limbažu Dūņezera vides kvalitāte

Limbažu Dūņezers atrodas īpaši aizsargājamā dabas teritorijā – Ziemeļvidzemes biosfēras rezervāta dabas lieguma “Dūņezers” zonā, biosfēras rezervāta ainavu aizsardzības zonas teritorijā un tā ir arī Natura 2000 teritorija. Neskatoties uz to, ezers ir pakļauts būtiskam punktveida piesārņojuma avotam – Limbažu notekūdeņu attīrīšanas iekārtām, un pēc Ministru Kabineta noteikumiem Nr. 418 ir iekļauts riska ūdensobjektu sarakstā. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir veikt ezera fizikāli ķīmiskās analīzes, analizēt iepriekš veiktu monitoringu datus un literatūru, lai saprastu ezerā notiekošos procesus, kuri ietekmē biogēno elementu apriti tajā, papildus ņemot vērā emitēto notekūdeņu apjomu un raksturu.

This work is inspired by the accompanying report to the opinion, presented to the European Committee of the Regions and approved by a large majority in Brussels on February 12, 2020, honouring, on the day of the 40th anniversary of the assassination, the memory of Prof. Vittorio Bachelet, vice-president of the Italian Superior Council of the Judiciary, murdered by terrorist hands at the end of the lesson of administrative law at the Faculty of Political Science at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. The sacrifice of this courageous Catholic jurist is a perennial warning of democratic civilization against the darkness of reason of those who practice hatred and violence.

Humans act at worldwide scale as a growing geomorphic agent since mid‐Holocene (8,200–4,200 y BP) through the pervasive impacts of domestication, deforestation, agriculture, urbanization, and mining.
