Il progetto per il primo concorso, del 1884, redatto dall’allora giovanissimo Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932), rivela una grande perizia progettuale che trasforma il complesso programma funzionale in un austero edificio in stile neofiorentino. Brief description of the object of study The competition of the Palace of Justice in Rome takes place in four phases between 1884 and 1887. The project for the first competition in 1884 drawn up by the then very young Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932) reveals a great deal of design expertise that transforms the complex functional program into an austere building in neo-florentine style. The original drawings of the building not realized kept in the Basile Endowment of the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo have been the subject of preliminary study to the phases of analysis interpretation and conceptual reconstruction of the digital model. 2. Attributions by team members for team outcomes in finnish working life

This study focuses on teamwork in Finnish working life. Through a wide cross-section of teams the study examines the causes to which team members attribute the outcomes of their teams. Qualitative data was collected from 314 respondents. They wrote 616 stories to describe memorable experiences of success and failure in teamwork. The stories revealed 1930 explanations. The findings indicate that both favorable and unfavorable team outcomes are perceived as being caused by the characteristics of team members, relationships between members, team communication, team structure, team goals, team leadership, and external forces. Hölder regularity for stochastic processes with bounded and measurable increments

We obtain an asymptotic Hölder estimate for expectations of a quite general class of discrete stochastic processes. Such expectations can also be described as solutions to a dynamic programming principle or as solutions to discretized PDEs. The result, which is also generalized to functions satisfying Pucci-type inequalities for discrete extremal operators, is a counterpart to the Krylov-Safonov regularity result in PDEs. However, the discrete step size $\varepsilon$ has some crucial effects compared to the PDE setting. The proof combines analytic and probabilistic arguments.

Prognostic Factors in Staged Bilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty—A Retrospective Case Series Analysis

Background: Bilateral osteoarthritis of the knee is an indication for a bilateral total knee replacement (TKR) procedure. The goal of our study was to assess the sizes of the implants used during the first and second stages of TKR procedures in order to compare their size and identify the prognostic factors for the second procedure. Methods: We evaluated 44 patients who underwent staged bilateral TKR procedures. Background: Gilles de la Tourette syndrome (TS) is a chronic neuropsychiatric disorder characterized by motor and vocal tics. First-line treatments for tics are antipsychotics and tic-specific behavioral therapies. However, due to a lack of trained therapists and adverse events of antipsychotic medication many patients seek alternative treatment options including cannabis.
