Bakalaura darbs “Latvijas un Zviedrijas attiecības no 1927. līdz 1930. gadam” analizē valstu politiskās, ekonomiskās attiecības un kultūras sakarus iekšpolitisko, ārpolitisko procesu iespaidā. Mērķis ir raksturot Latvijas un Zviedrijas attiecības Gustava Zemgala prezidentūras laikā kontekstā ar situāciju Baltijas jūras reģionā un Eiropā. Faktori, kā PSRS ietekmes pieaugums, reģiona vienotības trūkums, sūtņa Kārļa Zariņa darbība, iezīmēja jaunu posmu Latvijas – Zviedrijas attiecībās, ko raksturoja pakāpeniska sakaru paplašināšanās, gūstot pilnīgāku izpratni par to nozīmi. Pētījuma mērķis ir vispusīgi izpētīt Latvijas un Spānijas attiecību attīstību laika posmā no to nodibināšanas 1921. gadā līdz Latvijas okupācijai 1940. gadā, pievēršot uzmanību galvenajām attiecību jomām (politika, saimniecība, kultūra, sports). Balstoties uz informāciju Latvijas un Spānijas arhīvu materiālos, darbā secināts, ka diplomātisko pārstāvniecību darbību ciešāku attiecību veicināšanā apgrūtināja gan finansiālo resursu taupīšana, gan varas maiņas un pilsoņu karš Spānijā. Savukārt ekonomisko attiecību attīstību ierobežoja abu valstu saimnieciskā politika. Kultūras un sporta sakari bija nozīmīgi, Latvijai iekļaujoties Eiropas kultūrtelpā. An antique lead coffin discovered in Évreux (Eure): a multidisciplinary study

The Roman cemetery of le Clos au Duc in Évreux (Eure) lasted from the 1st to the 4th c. AD. The most common funerary practice in the 1st c. AD was cremation. From the beginning of the 2nd c. AD this rapidly gave place to inhumation burials. By the end of the 3rd c. lead coffins could be found in burials, but it remained a minority practice reserved for an elite. The 2010 excavation in Évreux allowed the recovery of an example of these. It was incomplete, but the good preservation of its remains made a multidisciplinary study possible. Apart from the bones of a young woman, the lead coffin contained coins, textile, fur, calcite (CaCO3) and insects. These results make it possible to retrace t…
