On the instability of an axially moving elastic plate

Problems of stability of an axially moving elastic band travelling at constant velocity between two supports and experiencing small transverse vibrations are considered in a 2D formulation. The model of a thin elastic plate subjected to bending and tension is used to describe the bending moment and the distribution of membrane forces. The stability of the plate is investigated with the help of an analytical approach. Eukaryotic topoisomerase II (topo II) is the essential decatenase of newly replicated chromosomes and the main relaxase of nucleosomal DNA. Apart from these general tasks, topo II participates in more specialized functions. In mammals, topo IIa interacts with specific RNA polymerases and chromatin-remodeling complexes, whereas topo IIb regulates developmental genes in conjunction with chromatin remodeling and heterochromatin transitions. Human blood was contaminated with nitrostigmine, dimethoate and demeton-S-methyl sulfoxide. It was then dialysed, concentrations of organophosphates were determined and dialysance values calculated. The influence of blood exchange transfusion on poison elimination as well as on the cholinesterase activity of blood, brain and muscle was studied in rats poisoned with nitrostigmine. Haemodialysis was found to be quite an effective method for eliminating demeton-S-methyl sulfoxide and dimethoate, dialysance values of 52.98 ml/min and 59.07 ml/min being found for demeton-S-methyl sulfoxide and dimethoate respectively. The procedure consists of a numerical solution of two Poisson equations representing equilibrium for two-dimensional plane-stressed solids with zero body forces.
