ResumenEste estudio pretende determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la Athletic Identity Measurement Scale en su versión traducida al español y la identidad deportiva (ID) de una muestra de adolescentes españoles. El cuestionario se administró a 441 adolescentes de 12-18 años, clasificados en: adolescentes del Programa de Especialización Deportiva (PED), adolescentes no-PED activos y adolescentes no-PED inactivos. El análisis factorial confirmatorio reveló una estructura jerárquica y multidimensional de tres factores de primer orden (identidad social, exclusividad y afectividad negativa) y uno de segundo orden, la ID. Abstract Background Congenital ichthyosis (CI) is a heterogeneous group of genetic disorders characterized by generalized dry skin, scaling and hyperkeratosis, often associated to erythroderma. They are rare diseases, with overall incidence of 6.7 in 100,000. Clinical manifestations are due to mutations in genes mostly involved in skin barrier formation. Based on clinical presentation, CI is distinguished in non-syndromic and syndromic forms. To date, mutations of more than 50 genes have been associated to different types of CI. The efficiency of chemotherapy drugs can be affected by ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter expression or by their mutation status. Multidrug resistance is linked with ABC transporter overexpression. In the present study, we performed rare mutation analyses for 12 ABC transporters related to drug resistance (ABCA2, -A3, -B1, -B2, -B5, -C1, -C2, -C3, -C4, -C5, -C6, -G2) in a dataset of 18 cancer patients. We focused on rare mutations resembling tumor heterogeneity of ABC transporters in small tumor subpopulations. The stem cell leukemia gene SCL, also known as TAL-1, encodes a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor expressed in erythroid, myeloid, megakaryocytic, and hematopoietic stem cells. To be able to make use of the unique tissue-restricted and spatio-temporal expression pattern of the SCL gene, we have generated a knock-in mouse line containing the tTA-2S tetracycline transactivator under the control of SCL regulatory elements. NF-E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2), known to protect against reactive oxygen species, has recently been reported to resolve acute inflammatory responses in activated macrophages. Consequently, disruption of Nrf2 promotes a proinflammatory macrophage phenotype. In the current study, we addressed the impact of this macrophage phenotype on CD8(+) T cell activation by using an antigen-driven coculture model consisting of Nrf2(-/-) and Nrf2(+/+) bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMΦ) and transgenic OT-1 CD8(+) T cells. The catalytic CVD synthesis, using propyne as carbon precursor and Fe(NO3)3 as catalyst precursor inside porous alumina, gives carbon nanotube (CNT) bags in a well-arranged two-dimensional order. The tubes have the morphology of bags or fibers, since they are completely filled with smaller helicoidal CNTs. This morphology has so far not been reported for CNTs. Owing to the dense filling of the outer mother CNTs with small helicoidal CNTs, the resulting CNT fibers appear to be stiff and show no sign of inflation, as sometimes observed with hollow CNTs.
