Statistical Performance Analysis of a Fast Super-Resolution Technique Using Noisy Translations.

It is well known that the registration process is a key step for super-resolution reconstruction. In this work, we propose to use a piezoelectric system that is easily adaptable on all microscopes and telescopes for controlling accurately their motion (down to nanometers) and therefore acquiring multiple images of the same scene at different controlled positions. Then a fast super-resolution algorithm \cite{eh01} can be used for efficient super-resolution reconstruction. [EN] We make some considerations about Relativistic Positioning Systems (RPS). Four satellites are needed to position a user. First of all we define the main concepts. Errors should be taken into account. Errors depend on the Jacobian transformation matrix. Its Jacobian is proportional to the tetrahedron volume whose vertexes are the four tips of the receiver-satellite unit vectors. If the four satellites are seen by the user on a circumference in the sky, then, the Jacobian and the tetrahedron volume vanish. The users we consider are spacecraft. Since the measurement systems used in this field have a low update rate with respect to the control algorithm, the design of a suitable observer with sampled measurements is required. FINDR: Low-Cost Indoor Positioning Using FM Radio

This paper presents an indoor positioning system based on FM radio. The system is built upon commercially available, short-range FM transmitters. The features of the FM radio which make it distinct from other localisation technologies are discussed. Despite the low cost and off-the-shelf components, the performance of the FM positioning is comparable to that of other positioning technologies (such as Wi-Fi). From our experiments, the median accuracy of the system is around 1.3 m and in 95% of cases the error is below 4.5 m.
