Maģistra darba “Virsraksti plašsaziņas līdzekļos pragmatiskā aspektā” mērķis ir konstatēt virsrakstu attieksmes ar tekstu un konstatēt, kā atšķiras virsraksti pēc struktūras dažādos medijos. Darba teorētiskā daļa sastāv no atziņām par publicistikas stilu, pragmatiku, komunikatīvajiem un teikumu tipiem. Teikumu strukturālie tipi un izteikumu komunikatīvie tipi virsrakstos un to raksturīgās iezīmes analizētas ar aprakstošo metodi, bet ar salīdzinošo analīzi konstatētas atšķirības un līdzības starp dažādu mediju virsrakstiem. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan amerikkalaista televisiosarjaa Gilmoren tytöt (engl. Gilmore Girls), joka kuvaa yksinhuoltajaäidin ja tämän tyttären elämää idyllisessä pikkukaupungissa. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on tarkastella strategista vuorovaikutusta sarjan henkilöhahmojen kesken keskittyen pääsääntöisesti Brownin ja Levinsonin kohteliaisuusteoriaan sekä Gilmore-ismeinä tunnettuihin puhekielen viittauksiin. This paper approaches classroom interaction from a pragmatic perspective. More specifically, it concentrates on two different types of classrooms where English is either the object or the medium of study. Rather than assessing students’ linguistic skills, the purpose is to analyse how English is put to use in these two settings, for what kinds of social and interactional purposes. The fi ndings show how the different institutional role of English is refl ected at the level of interaction. Maģistra darbā analizēta sakārtotu komponentu secība latviešu valodā, un pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt, kādi faktori to ietekmē. Teorētiskās literatūras izpētes rezultātā izvirzīti vairāki sakārtotu komponentu secību noteicoši faktori. Darbā aplūkoti galvenie – semantiskie, funkcionāli pragmatiskie un formālie – faktori. To ietekme detalizēti un strukturēti analizēta latviešu valodas materiālā. In Germany, where the common technique has always been dubbing, subtitles are however becoming more and more popular. The present article will deal with the application possibilities of subtitles in audiovisual translation with reference to humoristic elements. In this article we analyse autobiographical narrative texts written by university students studying Catalan as an Additional Language at a CEFR (2020) B1 level. The goal is to analyse the formative needs related to the writing of this genre in order to foster metadiscursive reflection in the classroom that will allow students to improve their written output. To this end, we analyzed a corpus of 39 autobiographies at both the macrotextual level (i.e., rhetorical moves) and the microtextual level (i.e., deictic elements which channel the narrative’s organization).
