This paper draws on practice theory and a review of practice theoretical studies in marketing, management, consumer, and markets research to advance our knowledge of marketing as a value-creating activity within firms. Building on previous research, the paper contributes to the literature by advancing a Marketing-as-Practice (MAP) framework based on three key concepts: marketing practices, marketing practitioners, and marketing praxis. Opiera się na ścisłych związkach teorii z praktyką. Ontologiczny status polskiej pedagogiki społecznej zakłada jej praktyczność i kooperatywizm oraz holizm w rozpatrywaniu zjawisk i procesów społecznych. The essay questions the relationship between prassi and techne in today's fully-tech society. The analysis moves from the aristotelian distinction between the various epistemai and continues through the comparison with the heideggerian idea of the root of knowing in the effectivity of existence, and with the gadameric perspective that highlights the similarities and differences between techne and praxis by bringing out at the same time the peculiarities of an irreducible knowledge of the technique.

Negotiating female judoka identities in Greece : A Foucauldian discourse analysis

Abstract Objectives The objectives of this paper are to trace the discourses through which female Greek judokas articulate their sporting experiences and to explore how they construct their identities through the negotiation of sociocultural beliefs and gender stereotypes. Design This article is based on interview data from a larger ethnographic research with women judo athletes, grounded in a cultural praxis framework.
