The present paper develops the need for an all-encompassing view of tourism, exploring the limitations of other previous approaches. Under the premise that tourism is associated to a dream-like sub-system which controls social and personal behaviour, it is hypothesised that a new methodology of understanding tourism from a cross-cultural point of view, rather than purely a Western point of view, is needed. International audience; This paper examines four facets of stratigraphic terminology and usage considered faulty and proposes corrective measures. The four perfectible areas are: (1) The system of dual nomenclature requiring discrete terminologies for the superpositional and temporal aspects of rock units. (2) The premise that a GSSP establishes the base of a stage as being coincident with the top of the preceding stage rather than simply defining it as the boundary between stages. Diplomdarbā „Paklāju salona interjera izveides specifika”, analizējot pieejamo informāciju, teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota paklāja vēsturiskā attīstība. Izpētīti galvenie paklāja dizaina veidojošie faktori un to ietekme uz telpas kopskatu. Empīriskajā daļā tiek veikts pētījums par Latvijas un pasaules paklāju saloniem, to izveides pamatfunkcijām un estētisko nozīmīgumu, kā arī aptauja par bijušā siltumpunkta ēkas izmantošanas iespējām. Diplomdarbs sastāv no 4 nodaļām, 7 apakšnodaļām un 3 pielikumiem, izmantoti 11 literatūras avoti. Apjoms ir 61 lappuses. Radošajā daļā tiek izstrādāts interjera projekts, balstoties uz teorētiskās un empīriskās daļas secinājumiem.

The current paper addresses the dynamics of the service sector in Romania, from the perspective of a new concept, namely the "composite synergy of services". The main points of the paper approach the fact that direct and indirect investments in the service sector create a synergic and composite effect on the development of the economy, as a whole, in Romania. The paper aims to be a prequel to a mathematical and economic demonstration of the existence of the composite synergy of services, laying the theoretical foundations of the concept and underlining the premises for its existence.

The research on risks, both perceived and real, has become a frequent theme of academic research in the recent past. Experts speak of violence as a psychosocial disease generated in violent environments habituation caused by a lack of democratic consciousness. In this regard, violence is broached in this paper considering it as some kind of atmosphere, especially when it is spread in school. Our contribution includes this perspective and concludes, after analysing the broad outlines of some programs and anti-harassment guidelines, the solution relates to promote social harmony and it goes through a basic premise: both aggressors and assaulted must be aware of their duties and basic rights.
Developmental and content effects in reasoning with causal conditionals.

Abstract Two predictions derived from Markovits and Barrouillet's (2001) developmental model of conditional reasoning were tested in a study in which 72 twelve-year-olds, 80 fifteen-year-olds, and 104 adults received a paper-and-pencil test of conditional reasoning with causal premises (“if cause P then effect Q”). First, we predicted that conditional premises would induce more correct uncertainty responses to the Affirmation of the consequent and Denial of the antecedent forms when the antecedent term is weakly associated to the consequent than when the two are strongly associated and that this effect would decrease with age.
