I molteplici aspetti della rappresentazione digitale riguardano anche le problematiche relative alla costruzione di una città smart in cui la comunicazione e la sua velocità di trasmissione sono diventati aspetti sostanziali della sua sintassi; app per tablet, mappe interattive, ricostruzioni digitali rendono più semplice la fruizione della città. Ci si chiede se la sola attenzione a queste componenti del disegno non rischi di allontanare la città dalla sua reale fruizione oppure se non sia necessaria una rappresentazione analitica preliminare che possa evidenziare futuri aspetti smart.
New forms of urban and social sustainability: ICTs in the design of smart cities

A new design of the city, that one of the smart city, is evolving implying the frequent involvement of the technological and social field, in order to make urban spaces more sustainable. The development of new information and communication technologies (ICTs), follows the growth and evolution of the city through the monitoring of the multiplicity of sectors that build urban form: economy, education, policy, environment and society. The objective of the research is to identify urban practices that have led to better results in the fields of mobility, environment and social cooperation, highlighting the different methodologies of ICTs’ application.

Animals use behaviors to actively sample the environment across a broad spectrum of sensory domains. These behaviors discretize the sensory experience into unique spatiotemporal moments, minimize sensory adaptation, and enhance perception. In olfaction, behaviors such as sniffing, antennal flicking, and wing beating all act to periodically expose olfactory epithelium. In mammals, it is thought that sniffing enhances neural representations; however, the effects of insect wing beating on representations remain unknown. The purpose of this thesis was to test the applicability of binding communication in the case of car use reduction. The first two studies (1 & 2) bring out the relationship between an individual and his mobility. Our results lead us to consider a system of double bind between the challenges of sustainable development and daily obligations. The individual recognizes the negative impact of car use on the environment but justifies his behavior by an important need for flexibility. Three studies have tested the effectiveness of procedures such as commitment (Study 3) and binding communication (studies 4 and 5). Le but de l'étude présentée est d'analyser les représentations d'unsport typé masculin, le rugby, dans le discours de spectateurs à l'issuede matchs. Le champ théorique renvoie à l'école européenne desreprésentations sociales (Moscovici, 1961) et ses développements entermes de structure stabilisée (Abric, 1994).
