In the Age of Revolutions, the legitimacy of political rule was increasingly derived in Western countries from popular sovereignty realised through parliamentary representation. This chapter analyses how the members of the representative institutions in Britain, France and Sweden attempted to solve tensions between popular sovereignty and representation during a revolutionary or evolutionary transition from the early modern representation of the interests of estates by delegates to the representation of the people by individual members. The objective of this study was to obtain new regression formulas for optical equipment Fat-O-Meat’er and OptiGrade-PRO in pig carcass classification in Romania. The estimation of lean mean content in pig carcasses by means of SEUROP system and following fair payment based on the weight and composition of the carcass pigs in the main objective of classification. Dissection of four main cuts (shoulder, loin, ham, belly) of pig carcasses (n = 145) were performed. The measurement of backfat and muscle depths using probes were taken from the carcasses within 45 min. after slaughter of pigs. Lean meat content estimated using different methods and determined from dissections was equal (56,3 % ). …

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on ymmärtää miten eri medialähteet(malawilaiset, liberialaiset, afrikkalaiset ja kansainväliset mediat) ovat kuvanneet kahta naispresidenttiä, ja miten naispresidentit ovat tuoneet itsensä esille mediassa. This essay highlight limits of contitutional reform reducing parlamentary members. At first sight this appear like an easy and bounded reform: but really it is not, the devaluation of political representation is at stake, one of the highest values of any constitutional system. Particular attention should be given to two negative consequences in case of success: the weakening of the Parliament aggregate function, the submission of its members to more stringent party constraints and and finally, the tightening of relations within parties. Medialla ja etenkin televisiosarjoilla on merkittävä rooli naisten representaatioiden luomisessa. Sarjojen ja elokuvien katselu on moninaistunut uusien teknologisten laitteiden ja katselupalveluiden avulla avaten uusia katselumahdollisuuksia, jotka eivät ole riippuvaisia ajasta ja paikasta. Median tuottamien representaatioiden tarkoitus on luoda tiettyjä naiskuvia, joihin naiskatsojat voisivat ja haluaisivat samaistua. Tämä tutkielma käsittelee Sex and the City –sarjan Miranda Hobbesin representaatiota postfeministisen sankarittaren näkökulmasta.
