Le donne migranti e le seconde generazioni costituiscono una realtà emergente in Italia anche sotto il profilo del maltrattamento e la violenza intrafamiliare, pur con alcune peculiarità che le distinguono tanto dalle donne italiane, quanto le une dalle altre, a causa delle mille sfaccettature derivanti dalla complessità dei percorsi migratori al femminile. La ricerca, a partire dall’esperienza dei processi migratori di donne straniere in Italia, rintraccia i legami retrospettivi della violenza che fanno da sfondo ad un progetto di emancipazione – tutto al femminile – di donne provenienti per la maggior parte dal terzo mondo.

In this project, we investigated the role played by digital media and information and communication technologies (ICTs) in building intergenerational and intragenerational relations for grandparents. A CUDA-based implementation of an improved SPH method on GPU

We present a CUDA-based parallel implementation on GPU architecture of a modified version of the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method. This modified formulation exploits a strategy based on the Taylor series expansion, which simultaneously improves the approximation of a function and its derivatives with respect to the standard formulation. The improvement in accuracy comes at the cost of an additional computational effort. The computational demand becomes increasingly crucial as problem size increases but can be addressed by employing fast summations in a parallel computational scheme. The most popular explanation technique is feature importance. However, there are several different approaches how feature importances are being measured, most notably global and local. The main goal is to design a computational method to objectively predict the human perceived quality of a distorted mesh and deal with the practical situation when the reference is not available.
