Approches quantitatives de la production de fer sur le site hallstattien de Bragny-sur-Saône (Saône-et-Loire)

This study is based on an inventory of iron knives dated from the 8th to the 5th centuries BC and discovered in funerary and settlement sites in the South-West of France. The corpus consists of 608 artefacts. We established a typology allowing us to present a chronological and spatial distribution of each type. We then tried to determine the functions of the knives according to their type and their length. For those discovered in graves other objects in the grave assemblage were used as an additional criterion. When the funerary context was very clearly defined, we tried to determine the function, in the grave itself, of the knives.

Trudne historyczne wydarzenia związane z pojawieniem się reformacji na ziemi bralińsko-kępińskiej były przyczyną wielu cierpień i uprzedzeń. Kościoły katolicki i ewangelicki zwalczały się nawzajem, zamykały świątynie, wypędzały duchownych. Taki stan rzeczy istniał do doświadczenia klęski żywiołowej związanej z dwukrotnym całkowitym pożarem miasteczka Bralin w latach 1807 i 1808. To doświadczenie wspólnego cierpienia doprowadziło do zorganizowania przez ocalałych z pożarów wiernych Kościoła Rzymskokatolickiego i Ewangelicko-Augsburskiego procesji suplikacyjnej. Document management systems are complex systems, which offer services as storage, versioning, metadata, security, as well as indexing and retrieval capabilities. Large numbers of documents could be automatically grouped into classes of documents, which contain similar information. Therefor we propose to use clustering methods in order to group the documents. Clustering is an important process in text mining used for groping documents based on their contents in order to extract knowledge. Collimation of energy in medium-modified QCD jets

The collimation of energy inside medium-modified jets is investigated in the leading logarithmic approximation of QCD. The Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi (DGLAP) evolution equations are slightly modified by introducing splitting functions enhanced in the infrared sector. As compared to elementary collisions in the vacuum, the angular distribution of the jet energy is found to broaden in QCD media.

Images are produced, used and distributed on an enormous scale. However, the skills of understanding, interpreting and using images as well as thinking and learning in terms of images are taken for granted, and thus, they are not sufficiently taught and developed, especially in higher education.
