In the agency relation between the shareholders and the CEO, everybody try toreinforce his or her position. For the CEO, it means the pursuit of a betterentrenchment, which allows him to reduce the risk of being dismissed. Is it all about consumer engagement? : Explaining continuance intention for utilitarian and hedonic service consumption

This paper compares the explanatory power of consumer engagement (CE) regarding service continuance intention with the variables of attitude (utilitarian and hedonic) and satisfaction. Survey data were collected from users of mobile music (n = 596) and mobile parking (n = 297) services. The partial least squares method was applied to analyze the data. In line with expectations, the findings show that attitude and satisfaction are superior drivers of service continuance intention compared to CE when service is used for utilitarian reasons. In this paper, we will present a case study regarding the current situation in the strategic management of student enrolment for the Department of Computer Science, Engineering Faculty. We will present some theoretical aspects of the strategic enrollment management applied by the Computer Science Department. Based on a questionnaire we will identify the geographical area where the students came from and their motivations to enroll to this specialization. In addition, we will analyze the expectations of students regarding their future employment.

Although there is an increased interest in overseas training for educational leaders in China, little is known about the leadership practices and professional development of school leaders. This study explored Chinese school principals’ perceptions of leadership practices and professional development after undertaking a Finnish training program in October 2011. Integrative Pedagogy in Practicum

The chapter introduces a model of integrative pedagogy in teaching practicum within a Finnish context. The aim of this action research project is to integrate educational theory and practice in teaching practicum with a view to promote student teachers professional autonomy. In the Integrative Pedagogy Model, theoretical knowledge, practical skills and self-regulation (reflective and metacognitive skills) are merged. The empirical part of the chapter is based on the content analysis of the experiences of students and their supervising teachers. The results show that an exceptional sense of community is being achieved in this kind of teaching practicum.
