Sustainable Entrepreneurial Orientation: A Business Strategic Approach for Sustainable Development

This paper proposes sustainable entrepreneurial orientation (SEO) as a multidimensional construct that offers researchers the possibility of empirically testing their theoretical proposals in the sustainable entrepreneurship field. The authors propose an integration of different theories. Students’ self-reported learning outcomes after a business start-up education program

The aim of the present study is to examine the breadth of influence of a business plan-based entrepreneurship education. This task is implemented by examining students’ (n = 227) self-reported learning outcomes concerning entrepreneurial skills, attitudes and abilities after education. AbstractThis paper analyses the role of gender of the chief executive officer (CEO) on the propensity to introduce innovations using a sample of 1405 Spanish small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We examine whether there are significant differences between female- and male-led businesses in terms of their propensity to innovate, and whether these differences may be explained by factors related to the attributes of the CEO concerning risk tolerance, self-confidence, education level and cooperative behaviour. National audience; Cette recherche se propose d'examiner les liens entre les formes d'organisation du travail dans lesquelles se trouvent les jeunes et leur stabilisation professionnelle. A partir de l'enquête Génération 98 du Céreq, portant sur une cohorte de jeunes sortants du système éducatif en 1998 et enquêtés fin 2005, nous avons construit une typologie de cinq contextes organisationnels de travail utilisant des informations sur le contrôle de l'activité, sur l'autonomie des salariés ou sur le contenu cognitif du travail.
