The remote control of industrial plants through networks is becoming very important nowadays but it involves several issues that can degrade the performance and usability of the remote plant. This paper presents a distributed architecture improving a remote programming system which allows users to control and to program a plant remotely. Storm

We present Storm, a storage system which unifies the desktop and the public network, making Web links between desktop documents more practical. Storm assigns each document a permanent unique URI when it is created. Using peer-to-peer technology, we can locate documents even though our URIs do not include location information. Links continue to work unchanged when documents are emailed or published on the network. We have extended KDE to understand Storm URIs. Other systems such as GNU Emacs are able to use Storm through an HTTP gateway.

Background Biological databases and repositories are incrementing in diversity and complexity over the years. This rapid expansion of current and new sources of biological knowledge raises serious problems of data accessibility and integration. To handle the growing necessity of unification, CellBase was created as an integrative solution. CellBase provides a centralized NoSQL database containing biological information from different and heterogeneous sources. ANOTĀCIJA. Mašīntulkošanas (MT) sistēmas tiek būvētas izmantojot dažādas metodes (zināšanās un korpusā bāzētas). Zināšanās bāzēta MT tulko tekstu, izmantojot cilvēka rakstītus likumus. Korpusā bāzēta MT izmanto no tulkojumu piemēriem automātiski izgūtus modeļus. Abām metodēm ir gan priekšrocības, gan trūkumi. Šajā darbā tiek meklēta kombināta metode MT kvalitātes uzlabošanai, kombinējot abas metodes. Darbā tiek pētīta metožu piemērotība latviešu valodai, kas ir maza, morfoloģiski bagāta valoda ar ierobežotiem resursiem. Lietotnes stāvokļa pārvaldība izmantojot ANGULAR satvaru

Dokumenta ievada daļā tiek definētas datu kopīgošanas un sinhronizācijas problēmas izstrādājot uz Angular satvara bāzētu tīmekļa lietotni. Pētījuma mērķis ir veikt deviņu dažādu stāvokļu pārvaldības rīku salīdzināšanu un literatūras avotu izpēti, kā arī definēt kritērijus, pēc kuriem iespējams noteikt piemērotāko stāvokļa pārvaldības šablonu. Tika izveidotas 10 dažādas lietotnes integrācijas, un, balstoties uz darbā definētajiem salīdzināšanas kritērijiem, tika iegūti mērījumu rezultāti un veikta salīdzināšana. Kvalifikācijas darbs apraksta izstrādātu darba laika uzskaites sistēmu, kas pielāgota konkrēta uzņēmuma vajadzībām. Sistēma tiek izstrādāta iekšējām vajadzībām. Lietojumprogrammā iespējams uzzināt detalizētu informāciju par uzņēmuma darbinieku darba laiku, tādējādi atvieglojot saziņu starp uzņēmuma darbiniekiem un darba laika plānošanu. Sistēmai reģistrēt lietotājus var tikai administrators, nereģistrētiem lietotājiem nav piekļuves sistēmas datiem. Izstrāde ir dokumentēta, iekļaujot prasību specifikāciju, projektējumu un testu.
