This study focuses on the promotion of the social capital and the development of a civic community through social commitment networks, and consequently, maintaining local development. The methodological procedure adopted was the case study and, as main technique of data analysis, the content analysis was used. The programs of social responsibility of companies renowned as socially responsible from the region of Serra Gaúcha (south Brazil) were studied, analyzing their contribution to the generation or strengthening of the social capital of the reached communities. In this article, we present an overview of the present state of the art of the theory of high-resolution spherical-top spectra in the framework of the effective Hamiltonian approach. We describe the specific features of this class of molecules to explain the basic concepts of the theoretical methods used for the analysis (line positions and intensities) and the simulation of absorption (including pure rotation) and Raman spectra of such species. The European Social Fund-supported Portland Partnership project developed a computer-based virtual learning environment (VLE) to benefit students with cognitive and physical disabilities. This system provided students with access to a suite of software programs to teach them basic/essential skills needed for everyday life and to use information and communications technology (ICT). La violencia de género es un problema de salud pública de proporciones epidémicas con serias consecuencias para la salud física y psicológica de las víctimas, sus hijos y la sociedad en su conjunto. Una de las aproximaciones para responder a esta problemática son los programas de intervención con maltratadores. Los meta-análisis que se han llevado a cabo para evaluar la eficacia de estos programas han mostrado tamaños del efecto pequeños.
