Un bassin extensif formé pendant la fonte de la calotte glaciaire hirnantienne : le bassin ordovico-silurien de Kandi (Nord Bénin, Sud Niger)

Le long de la bordure occidentale du bassin de Kandi, la sédimentation détritique continentale de base, correspondant à la formation de Wéré, est préservée dans des paléovallées limitées par des failles d'orientation moyenne N20°E, héritées de l'orogenèse panafricaine. Le remplissage sédimentaire de ces paléovallées est représenté par des dépôts conglomératiques et bréchiques de tills glaciaires marquant la base de la série, évoluant verticalement et latéralement vers l'Est à des grès fluviatiles. Ces dépôts continentaux, d'âge supposé ordovicien supérieur, passent verticalement à des grès tidaux et des grès et siltites subtidaux de la Formation de Kandi, d'âge ordovicien terminal à silurie…

The prevalence of myopia has markedly increased in East and Southeast Asia, and pathologic consequences of myopia, including myopic maculopathy and high myopia-associated optic neuropathy, are now some of the most common causes of irreversible blindness. Hence, strategies are warranted to reduce the prevalence of myopia and the progression to high myopia because this is the main modifiable risk factor for pathologic myopia. L´esclerosi múltiple primària progressiva es presenta entre un 10-15 % dels pacients, ve definida per un curs progressiu sense brots clars i amb una presentació típica en forma de paraparèsia espàstica fins en un 80 % dels casos. No disposa de tractament aprovat modificador de la malaltia en l´actualitat si bé s´ha vist en base a estudis d´inflamació en LCR que podria existir un subgrup que tindrien un perfil clínic diferent amb inflamació i es podrien beneficiar de tractament. Virskorekcijas pielietojamība tuvredzības progresijas novērtēšanā ortokeratoloģijas pacientiem

Darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 93 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 49 attēlus, 24 tabulas un 95 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Šī darba mērķis ir pārbaudīt, vai virskorekcija ir derīga metode tuvredzības progresēšanas novērtēšanai ortokeratoloģijā. Hipotēze ir atrast lielākas izmaiņas gados jaunākiem pacientiem nekā pieaugušajiem, kā tas ir norādīts literatūrā. Pētījumā iekļauti 192 Eiropeīdās rases subjekti vecumā no 6 līdz 56 gadiem (vidēji 19,61±10,30). Purpose Glaucoma diagnosis and follow up of progression is often based on structural and functional assessments. This study aimed to assess clustered progression and evaluate its correlation with the corresponding disc changes (RA sectors) obtained from HRT examinations. Methods 51 eyes from OHT and glaucoma patients with a minimum of 5 reliable visual ᴀ밄eld tests (HFA II i 24-2) and HRT with a follow-up >4 years were analyzed retrospectively.
