Superresolved imaging based on wavelength multiplexing of projected unknown speckle patterns

We propose a method for resolution enhancement of a diffraction limited optical system based on the capture of a set of low resolution images. These images are obtained after projection of an ensemble of unknown speckle patterns on top of the high resolution object that is to be imaged. Each speckle pattern is generated by the same thin (and unknown) diffuser, but illuminated with a slightly different wavelength. From the ensemble of low resolution images, we obtain a system of equations that can be solved in an iterative manner that enables reconstruction of the high resolution object. As a result, we also achieve the projected high resolution speckle patterns used for the encoding.

The SENTIment POLarity Classification Task (SENTIPOLC), a new shared task in the Evalita evaluation campaign , focused on sentiment classification at the message level on Italian tweets. It included three subtasks: subjectivity classification, polarity classification, and irony detection. Drawback of ICA Procedure on EEG: Polarity Indeterminacy at Local Optimization

Independent component analysis (ICA) has been extensively applied to reject artifacts in electroencephalography (EEG) signal processing. The first step is to extract the independent component activations from the electrode records, and then project the desired components back to the electrodes. After the composition of the projected component is analyzed in details under ICA procedure, this study shows that since ICA may extract some source components at the local optimization in high-dimensional EEG signal space, the artificial polarity indeterminacy may happen on the projected component at some electrodes. It first argues that the public debate about refugees and border crossing in Europe tends to be ahistorical, treating the situation as a sudden emergency appearing from nowhere. Thinking in terms of bordering, as a verb, underlines that borders require continuous symbolic and material construction and that borders have consequences. The perspective of bordering calls for attention to temporality.
