Salt stress has been frequently studied in its first osmotic phase. Very often, data regarding the second ionic phase is missing. It has also been suggested that Putrescine or/and Spermine could be responsible for salt resistance. In order to test this hypothesis under long-term salt stress, we obtained Arabidopsis thaliana transgenic plants harboring pRD29A::oatADC or pRD29A::GUS construction. Although Putrescine was the only polyamine significantly increased after salt acclimation in pRD29A::oatADC transgenic lines, this rendered in no advantage to this kind of stress. Background In this study, the prevalence and distribution of dental caries and oral hygiene conditions in a group of patients with β-TM are evaluated and the results compared to age-and gender-matched healthy patients. Los programas de Educación para la Salud (EpS) escolar necesitan la colaboración entre el personal sanitario y el docente, lo que requiere que se compartan conceptos e ideas. El presente trabajo trata de conocer las concepciones de Salud y de EpS, que posee el personal docente y el sanitario que participa en estos proyectos. Se ha tomado una muestra de 118 docentes que llevaban a cabo programas de EpS en la ciudad de Valencia en el curso 2010-11 coordinados por la Escuela Valenciana de Salud Pública (EVES), y 102 sanitarios que colaboraban en dichos proyectos. This paper explored how a small group of limb-disabled students enhanced their social inclusion through participation in the Art for the Disabled Scheme, a long-term project aiming to help disabled young people through the integration of extracurricular art instruction and philanthropy. This research was conducted using qualitative case study method. The findings revealed the multiple benefits the disabled students reaped regarding their social inclusion enhancement: financial and material supports; mental well-being improvement; promotion for personal development; positive self and group identity building; and social development. Data were collected through an online based cross-sectional survey between June 29, 2020 and July 12, 2020 in Spain.
