Linearized Piecewise Affine in Control and States Hydraulic System: Modeling and Identification

In this paper, the modeling and identification of a nonlinear actuated hydraulic system is addressed. The full-order model is first reduced in relation to the load pressure and flow dynamics and, based thereupon, linearized over the entire operational state-space. The dynamics of the proportional control valve is identified, analyzed, and intentionally excluded from the reduced model, due to a unity gain behavior in the frequency range of interest. The input saturation and dead-zone nonlinearities are considered while the latter is identified to be close to 10% of the valve opening. Background The relation of coffee consumption with total mortality is controversial, because the available evidence is still inconsistent. Objective This study aimed to assess this association in a highly educated, middle-aged Mediterranean cohort. Rare heritable syndromes may affect educational attainment. Here, we study education in neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1) that is associated with multifaceted medical, social and cognitive consequences. Educational attainment in the Finnish population‐based cohort of 1408 individuals with verified NF1 was compared with matched controls using Cox proportional hazards model with delayed entry and competing risk for death. Moreover, models accounting for the effects of cancer at age 15–30 years, parental NF1 and developmental disorders were constructed.
