Suite à la lettre de saisine des Ministres de l’Agriculture et de l’Alimentation, de la Transition écologique et solidaire, de la Santé, et de l’Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche et de l'Innovation du 2 novembre dernier l’Inra a remis le 30 novembre 2017 aux Ministres concernés son rapport sur les usages et les alternatives au glyphosate dans l’agriculture française. Ce rapport répond à plusieurs objectifs : analyser les usages du glyphosate, identifier les alternatives possibles avec leurs incidences économiques et organisationnelles ainsi les difficultés spécifiques à certaines filières ou modes de production. Root pathogens play an important economical role in the production of vegetable and ornamental plants. They cause high losses especially in green house production and are difficult to combat by conventional methods, because the use of pesticides in soils or substrates is limited. The application of arbuscular mycorrhiza could be an alternative as mycorrhizal plants generally showed higher resistance against various soil-borne pathogenic fungi.
