Banking Accounting between Prudence and Flexibility

Abstract This paper is about the first year applying the International Financial Reporting Standards in Romanian banking accounting system. The research goal is revealing the effects on valuation of assets, liabilities or risks provisions. Expected results are linked to changing of performance indicators. Besides the need of specific resolution measures, the crises revealed the necessity to adopt prudential regulations for increasing banking accountability. Similar to the other segments of the financial market, the facts have shown that the control over the obeisance of these regulations should be entrusted to a supervising authority.

Abstract Brand choice remains under review in the context of service provision. Drawing on schema theory and persuasion theory, this study tests how, in online reviews, valence (positive vs. negative), content style (general vs. specific), and destination familiarity interact and influence digital destination image (DDI) and intention to visit a tourist destination (TD). The goal of this investigation was the experimental verification of the dispersion of compression in bottle-shaped struts. Two typical bottle shapes were generated under load in compression concrete—both drilled and undrilled—and were reinforced concrete prismatic members with loading steel plate having a reduced area with respect to the entire cross section of the members. Fish may learn to associate food with human presence through recreational hand-feeding, a popular tourist activity. The conditional learning-e. g. when an organism learns by continuous exposure to one stimulus-of different coastal fish species exposed to novel feeding situations was evaluated. The latencies of learning response to the initiation of supplementary feeding were rapid and species-specific.
