The photo diaries method to catch the daily experience of Italian university students during COVID-19 lockdown

The aim of this research was to explore Italian students’ lockdown experience during the COVID-19 pandemic to understand their emotions and the coping strategies they played out during their daily lives at home through photo diaries. The research was carried out in six Italian universities involving 109 participants. The task required each student to take one photo per day for one week in T1 and one in T2, representing their mood during their daily life at home and to give it a title and a brief description. A case of success: the impact of ad hoc teams in the automobile industry

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to analyse the effect of training on ad hoc teams in an industrial setting. Design/methodology/approach - In this paper, data were collected from 11 Spanish automobile manufacturer suppliers and included the assessment of the current situation, the creation and holding of different workshops followed by the collection of the results. Findings - The paper finds that ad hoc teams are really effective especially in lean companies. Originality/value - This paper breaks new ground in analysing the effect of training ad hoc teams in an industrial setting.

Popularmente se considera que el deporte es bueno para la salud, que es un buen transmisor de valores, que favorece el proceso de socialización en la niñez y en la adolescencia y que por lo tanto deberíamos animar a niños y adolescentes a practicar deporte. Sin embargo, a pesar de que el deporte es potencialmente promotor de estos y otros beneficios, no todos los niños y niñas los reciben. Para algunos niños y niñas la práctica deportiva está asociada a tensión, agotamiento, ansiedad y miedo, entre otros indicadores de malestar.

Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) are a persistent and multiple manifestation of maladaptive behaviours which interfere with the students' learning, social functioning and development and/or that of their peers. They may become apparent through withdrawn, passive, aggressive or self-injurious tendencies. The prevalence of these disorders is 2-16% of the general population. Children with SEBD, diagnosed or not, are likely to live in social isolation, to receive a poor education, and they risk becoming deviant teenagers, or unemployed adults.
