The purpose of this study is to present the general principles and general issues of liquidation of the bankruptcy estate under Polish law. It should be stressed that liquidation of the bankruptcy estate is intended to satisfy the creditors of the insolvent debtor. Therefore, the manner of liquidation of the bankruptcy estate has an obvious impact on the final bankruptcy dividend for the creditors. The article aims to elucidate the role played by “race” in Nietzsche's writings. Nietzsche’s concept of “race” is analyzed and interpreted together with his lexicon of the transformation of the human being and his critique of culture. The concept of “race” is studied together with other adjacent concepts and similar ideas such as the treatment of the Jewish question, his criticism of nationalism, the figure of good Europeans, the metaphor of the blond beast, the human types and the thought of breeding. This article analyzes how the patterns of cooperation among different institutions ensure quality professional preparation in terms of the production of an effective and regulated distribution of competencies. For this analysis we apply the comparative methodology of García Garrido to the Spanish and German models of professional development; and we review educational issues related to the administration, management, and supervision of the professional preparation system in the two countries both at the central and regional levels.

The paper introduces the splendid representations of Emperor Constantine the Great and Saint Helena in Jan Kuben’s frescos in the church under invocation of the Triumph of the Cross in Brzeg. They testify strongly of the incessant presence of the creative reflection over the Christian ancient times in the area of Opole Silesia in the period of the Catholic reform in the 18th century. Kuben’s trompe-l’oeil constitutes a wonderful combination of deeply experienced Catholic spirituality with the genius of the artist – a visionary.

In this article, we examine the relationship between metrics documenting politics-related Twitter activity with election results and trends in opinion polls. Various studies have proposed the possibility of inferring public opinion based on digital trace data collected on Twitter and even the possibility to predict election results based on aggregates of mentions of political actors. Preventing Violence in Seven Countries: Global Convergence in Policies

Do governments take the measures that are supported by the best scientific evidence available? We present a brief review of the situation in: Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Our findings show surprisingly similar developments across countries. While all seven countries are moving towards evidence-based decision making regarding policies and programs to prevent violence, there remain a number of difficulties before this end can be achieved.
