2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/205062 Open Access The aim of this study is focusing the issue of traditional clustering algorithm subjects to data space distribution influence, a novel clustering algortihm combined with rough set theory is employed to the normal clustering. The proposed rough clustering algorithm takes the condition attributes and decision attributes displayed in the information table as the consistency principle, meanwhile it takes the data supercubic and information entropy to realize data attribute shortcutting and discretizing. Based on above discussion, …

Research on amplifier performance evaluation based on δ-support vector regression

2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/574547 Open Access Focusing on the amplifier performance evaluation demand, a novel evaluation strategy based on δ-support vector regression (δ-SVR) is proposed in this paper. Lower computer calculation demand is considered firstly. And this is dealt with by the superiority of δ-SVR which can be significantly improved on the number of support vectors. Moreover, the function of δ-SVR employs the modified RBF kernel function which is constructed from an original kernel by removing the last coordinate and adding the linear term with the last coordi…

A novel data-driven fault diagnosis algorithm using multivariate dynamic time warping measure

2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/625814 Open Access Process monitoring and fault diagnosis (PM-FD) has been an active research field since it plays important roles in many industrial applications. In this paper, we present a novel data-driven fault diagnosis algorithm which is based on the multivariate dynamic time warping measure. First of all, we propose a Mahalanobis distance based dynamic time warping measure which can compute the similarity of multivariate time series (MTS) efficiently and accurately. Then, a PM-FD framework which consists of data preprocessing, metric lea…

Direct adaptive tracking control for a class of pure-feedback stochastic nonlinear systems based on fuzzy-approximation

2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/462468 Open Access The problem of fuzzy-based direct adaptive tracking control is considered for a class of pure-feedback stochastic nonlinear systems. During the controller design, fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the packaged unknown nonlinearities, and then a novel direct adaptive controller is constructed via backstepping technique. It is shown that the proposed controller guarantees that all the signals in the closed-loop system are bounded in probability and the tracking error eventually converges to a small neighborhood around …

Macroscopic expressions of molecular adiabatic compressibility of methyl and ethyl caprate under high pressure and high temperature

2014

The molecular compressibility, which is a macroscopic quantity to reveal the microcompressibility by additivity of molecular constitutions, is considered as a fixed value for specific organic liquids. In this study, we introduced two calculated expressions of molecular adiabatic compressibility to demonstrate its pressure and temperature dependency. The first one was developed from Wada’s constant expression based on experimental data of density and sound velocity. Secondly, by introducing the 2D fitting expressions and their partial derivative of pressure and temperature, molecular compressibility dependency was analyzed further, and a 3D fitting expression was obtained from the calculated…

Stability in mean of partial variables for coupled stochastic reaction-diffusion systems on networks: A graph approach

2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/597502 Open Access This paper is devoted to investigating stability in mean of partial variables for coupled stochastic reaction-diffusion systems on networks (CSRDSNs). By transforming the integral of the trajectory with respect to spatial variables as the solution of the stochastic ordinary differential equations (SODE) and using Itô formula, we establish some novel stability principles for uniform stability in mean, asymptotic stability in mean, uniformly asymptotic stability in mean, and exponential stability in mean of partial variables for…

State Estimation for Wireless Network Control System with Stochastic Uncertainty and Time Delay Based on Sliding Mode Observer

2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/303840 Open Access State estimation problem is considered for a kind of wireless network control system with stochastic uncertainty and time delay. A sliding mode observer is designed for the system under the situation that no missing measurement occurs and system uncertainty happens in a stochastic way. The observer designed for the system can guarantee the system states will be driven onto the sliding surface under control law, and the sliding motion of system states on sliding surface will be stable. By constructing proper Lyapunov-Krasovskii…

Robust adaptive neural backstepping control for a class of nonlinear systems with dynamic uncertainties

2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/658671 Open Access This paper is concerned with adaptive neural control of nonlinear strict-feedback systems with nonlinear uncertainties, unmodeled dynamics, and dynamic disturbances. To overcome the difficulty from the unmodeled dynamics, a dynamic signal is introduced. Radical basis function (RBF) neural networks are employed to model the packaged unknown nonlinearities, and then an adaptive neural control approach is developed by using backstepping technique. The proposed controller guarantees semiglobal boundedness of all the signals in the…

Study on the characteristics of electromagnetic noise of axial flux permanent magnet synchronous motor

2014

Published version of an article in the journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis. Also available from the publisher at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2014/764105 Open Access The normal electromagnetic force distribution in stator system of axial flux permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has been thoroughly analyzed in this paper. The main composition of force wave causing vibration and noise has been proposed, and at the same time a calculation method of stator natural frequency of axial flux PMSM has been raised. Through this method electromagnetic force wave, natural frequency, vibration response, and electromagnetic noise of a 15 kW axial flux PMSM with 22 poles and 24 slots have been calc…
