ViziQuer: A Visual Notation for RDF Data Analysis Queries

Visual SPARQL query notations aim at easing the RDF data querying task. At the current state of the art there is still no generally accepted visual graph-based notation suitable to describe RDF data analysis queries that involve aggregation and subqueries. In this paper we present a visual diagram-centered notation for SPARQL select query formulation, capable to handle aggregate/statistics queries and hierarchic queries with subquery structure. The notation is supported by a web-based prototype tool. We present the notation examples, describe its syntax and semantics and describe studies with possible end users, involving both IT and medicine students.

Nemastoma bidentatum (Arachnida: Opiliones: Nemastomatidae): first records for Germany and the Czech Republic. N. bidentatum Roewer, 1914 was found at two places in Germany: first on the island "Harriersand" in the Weser river (Lower Saxony), second on the banks of the river Elbe in the Elbsandsteingebirge (Saxony). Adjacent to the latter locality an occurrence in the Czech Republic could be located close to the German/Czech border in the floodplain of the river Elbe as well. Maģistra darbā tiek pētīts, kas ir darbu vadības sistēma, kādu darbu vadības sistēmu nepieciešams ieviest VSAA (Valsts sociālās apdrošināšanas aģentūra) informācijas sistēmā, kādas programmēšanas valodas tiek izmantotas šīs sistēmas izstrādē un uzturēšanā, kas ir sistēmanalīze un transformācijas rīks, kas tulko no PL/SQL programmēšanas valodas uz VSAA standartizēto sistēmanalīzes valodu. Darbā tiek apskatīti trīs rīki, kurus izmanto VSAA informācijas sistēmas uzturēšanā un izstrādē, kā arī divi rīki, kuri tika ieviesti kopā ar darbu vadības apakšsistēmas izstrādi. In this paper we provide an overview of the Hints From the Crowd (HFC) project, whose main goal is to build a NoSQL database system for large collections of product reviews; the database is queried by expressing a natural language sentence; the result is a list of products ranked based on the relevance of reviews w.r.t. the natural language sentence. The best ranked products in the result list can be seen as the best hints for the user based on crowd opinions (the reviews). Relational databases remain the leading data storage technology. Nevertheless, many companies want to reduce operating expenses, to make scalable applications that use cloud computing technologies. Use of NoSQL database is one of the possible solutions, and it is forecasted that the NoSQL market will be growing at a CAGR of approximately 50 percent over the next five years. Background Biological databases and repositories are incrementing in diversity and complexity over the years. This rapid expansion of current and new sources of biological knowledge raises serious problems of data accessibility and integration. To handle the growing necessity of unification, CellBase was created as an integrative solution. CellBase provides a centralized NoSQL database containing biological information from different and heterogeneous sources. Satura vadības platforma “Makoro” ir API veida tīmeklī bāzēta programmatūra, kas ļauj nelieliem uzņēmumiem un pašnodarbinātām personām veikt pasākumu reklamēšanu un ar to saistītās mārketinga darbības. Sistēma atvieglo rēķinu sagatavošanu, pakalpojumu tirdzniecību. Sistēmas izstrāde veikta, izmantojot ūdenskrituma modeli. Programmatūra izmanto Laravel MVC tipa ietvaru. Datu glabāšanai izmantota MySQL datubāze.

Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir izstrādāt programmu “Bridža reitingu sistēma”, kas nodrošinātu Latvijas Bridža Federācijas uzturētā spēlētāju reitinga uzskaiti un atjaunošanu, kā arī nodrošinātu Latvijas Bridža Federācijas un tās sastāvā ietilpstošo bridža klubu rīkoto pāru turnīru apstrādi un meistarbaļļu piešķiršanu atbilstoši turnīru rezultātiem.

Darba mērķis bija izstrādāt lietotnes “Gudrā māja” tīmekļu servisa daļu, kas ļautu lietotnes lietotājiem piekļūt dažādu sensoru mērītajai informācijai, kas tiek glabāta MySQL datubāzē, par viņiem piederošo māju, kā arī ļaut attālināti kontrolēt dažādas mājā esošās ierīces. Sensoru un pievienoto ierīču darbību nodrošina Arduino mikro kontrolieris. Lietotni iespējams izmantot reģistrētiem lietotājiem, kas ir mājas iemītnieki un sistēmas administratoriem. Dokumentā ir iekļauta mantu atdošanas mājaslapas tehniskā dokumentācija, kas ietver PPS, PPA un testēšanas dokumentāciju. Izstrādātās sistēmas galvenais mērķis ir atļaut lietotājiem izveidot sludinājumus, atrast sludinājumus pēc kategorijām un atstāt atsauksmes par citiem lietotājiem. Sistēma tika realizēta ar Laravel 8 tīmekļa ietvaru, kas balstās uz PHP valodu, un tailwind ietvaru mājaslapas stila veidošanai. Datubāze realizēta ar MySQL pārvaldības sistēmu.
