An integrative approach to unravel the Ceratitis FAR (Diptera, Tephritidae) cryptic species complex: a review

Abstract This paper reviews all information gathered from different disciplines and studies to resolve the species status within the Ceratitis FAR (Ceratitis fasciventris, Ceratitis anonae, Ceratitis rosa) complex, a group of polyphagous fruit fly pest species (Diptera, Tephritidae) from Africa. It includes information on larval and adult morphology, wing morphometrics, cuticular hydrocarbons, pheromones, microsatellites, developmental physiology and geographic distribution. Volatiliteetti ja tuotot pohjoismaisilla osakemarkkinoilla

Tämän työn tarkoituksena on selvittää, onko Pohjoismaissa havaittavissa alhaisen volatiliteetin anomaliaa ja tutkia volatiliteetin ja osaketuottojen suhdetta. Volatiliteettia mitataan osaketuottojen yhtiökohtaisella (idiosynkraattisella) volatiliteetilla, sekä yksinkertaisella volatiliteetilla. Tutkimuskysymystä tarkastellaan muodostamalla portfolioita osaketuotoista volatiliteetin mukaan. Käytettävä aineisto on Pohjoismaisilta osakemarkkinoilta vuosilta 1990–2013. Käytetyt hinnoittelumallit ovat CAPM, Fama & French -malli, sekä neljän faktorin malli. Calibration of in situ chlorophyll fluorometers for organic matter

AbstractOrganic matter (OM) other than living phytoplankton is known to affect fluorometric in situ assessments of chlorophyll in lakes. For this reason, calibrating fluorometric measurements for OM error is important. In this study, chlorophyll (Chl) fluorescence was measured in situ in multiple Finnish lakes using two sondes equipped with Chl fluorometers (ex.470/em.650–700 nm). OM absorbance (A420) was measured from water samples, and one of the two sondes was also equipped with in situ fluorometer for OM (ex.350/em.430 nm).
