Popularity of recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) is increasing. Because of the high water recirculation rate, dissolved nutrients originating from fish feed are concentrated enough in RAS wastewater (WW) to enable growth of primary producers, e.g. microalgae. Omassa Pro gradu -tutkielmassani pureudun Suomen ja suomalaisten taiteilijoiden osallistumiseen Venetsian nykytaiteen biennaaliin, sekä siinä vallitsevaan problematiikkaan kasvavan kulttuuriviennin aikana. Seuraan mukanaolon kehitystä ja jalostumista nykyiselle tasolleen, tuoden esille sen ongelmia ja toisaalta mahdollisuuksia. Kansallisella kuvataiteen kentällä Venetsian biennaaliin osallistumiselle annetaan paljon painoarvoa, koska biennaali on yksi nykytaiteen tärkeimmistä reiteistä kansainvälisyyteen. The goal of my PhD studies was to synthesize new compounds for possible medical imaging applications. The first part of my thesis focused on the synthesis of heteroleptic ligands to achieve the chelation of two different metals aimed at addressing two types of medical imaging. We first synthesized porphyrins, which are well-known for the chelation of numerous transition metals. We focused on copper, whose copper-64 isotope is a β+ emitter usable in Positron Emission Tomography (PET). These porphyrins have been coupled with a DOTA derivative. La presente Tesis Doctoral tiene como objetivo establecer el espectro parasitario intestinal de la costa Atlántica de Nicaragua, concretamente de la Región Autónoma del Atlántico Norte (RAAN) y la Región Autónoma del Atlántico Sur (RAAS). Para ello, se ha estudiado un total de 1878 escolares (1009 niñas y 869 niños), con edades comprendidas entre <1 y 14 años de edad. Se ha detectado un espectro parasitario total de al menos 18 especies parásitas (10 protozoos y 8 helmintos), con una prevalencia de parasitación total de 93.7%, observándose mayor prevalencia de protozoos que de helmintos (85.3% vs 61%). Instruction-based clinical eye-tracking study on the visual interpretation of divergence : how do students look at vector field plots?

Relating mathematical concepts to graphical representations is a challenging task for students. In this paper, we introduce two visual strategies to qualitatively interpret the divergence of graphical vector field representations. One strategy is based on the graphical interpretation of partial derivatives, while the other is based on the flux concept. We test the effectiveness of both strategies in an instruction-based eye-tracking study with N = 41 physics majors. Raman spectroscopy and crystal-field split rotational states of photoproducts CO and H2 after dissociation of formaldehyde in solid argon

Raman signal is monitored after 248 nm photodissociation of formaldehyde in solid Ar at temperatures of 9–30 K. Rotational transitions J = 2 ← 0 for para-H2 fragments and J = 3 ← 1 for ortho-H2 are observed as sharp peaks at 347.2 cm−1 and 578.3 cm−1, respectively, which both are accompanied by a broader shoulder band that shows a split structure. The rovibrational spectrum of CO fragments has transitions at 2136.5 cm−1, 2138.3 cm−1, 2139.9 cm−1, and 2149 cm−1. To explain the observations, we performed adiabatic rotational potential calculations to simulate the Raman spectrum.
