Deze bijdrage presenteert de resultaten van een prospectie- en waarderingsonderzoek te Lier-Duwijck II (prov. Antwerpen), ter hoogte van een locatie die gekenmerkt wordt door de aanwezigheid van (mesolithische) lithische artefacten en verkoolde ecofacten in zandlemige afzettingen. Het artikel bespreekt de resultaten van een veldverkenning, manuele boringen, een proefputtenonderzoek en een daaropvolgende kleinschalige opgraving van een cluster geassocieerd met een windvalstructuur.

In the southern and eastern area of the Côte d’Île-de-France, north of the marshes of Saint-Gond (Marne, France), research incorporating a great deal of unpublished documentation, and the results of pedestrian and aerial surveys, has highlighted five flint mines.
