The purpose of this study was to describe the contents of type 2 diabetes patient self-management counselling documentation, how counselling of self- management appeared in various content areas and how patients’ self- management competence developed during the counselling. Unlike classical forms of deception where the deceiver deceives their victims directly, the crowdsourcing of cyber deception provides a powerful and cost-effective mechanism for deceivers to create and spread falsehood from the shadows. But for a mass deception campaign to be effective, the crowdworkers must rationalize (and willingly accept) their role in the deceptive act. Šis dokuments satur informāciju par kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros izstrādātās sistēmas “Konsultāciju pieteikumu pārvaldības sistēma skolām” programmatūras prasību specifikāciju ar attiecīgo aprakstu un projektējumu, veikto vienībtestēšanu, konfigurāciju pārvaldību un darbietilpības novērtējumu. Darba rezultātā izveidotā sistēma nodrošina iespēju vairākām skolām vienoti pārvaldīt attiecīgo skolu skolēnu, skolotāju, konsultāciju un to pieteikumu datus. Sistēma tika izstrādāta ar Laravel un React satvariem. Komponentēm tika lietota Ant design bibliotēka.

A giant planet beyond the snow line in microlensing event OGLE-2011-BLG-0251

We present the analysis of the gravitational microlensing event OGLE-2011-BLG-0251. This anomalous event was observed by several survey and follow-up collaborations conducting microlensing observations towards the Galactic Bulge. Based on detailed modelling of the observed light curve, we find that the lens is composed of two masses with a mass ratio q=1.9 x 10^-3. Thanks to our detection of higher-order effects on the light curve due to the Earth's orbital motion and the finite size of source, we are able to measure the mass and distance to the lens unambiguously. VUV emission spectroscopy combined with H- density measurements in the ion source Prometheus I

“Prometheus I” is a volume H− negative ion source, driven by a network of dipolar electron cyclotron resonance (ECR; 2.45 GHz) modules. The vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV) emission spectrum of low-temperature hydrogen plasmas may be related to molecular and atomic processes involved directly or indirectly in the production of negative ions. In this work, VUV spectroscopy has been performed in the above source, Prometheus I, both in the ECR zones and the bulk (far from ECR zones and surfaces) plasma. The acquired VUV spectra are correlated with the negative ion densities, as measured by means of laser photodetachment, and the possible mechanisms of negative ion production are considered.
