Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir izstrādāt semināru reģistrācijas sistēmas vietni, kuras mērķis ir atvieglot uzņēmuma un potenciālo klientu komunikāciju, piesakoties izveidotajiem semināriem. Kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros tika izstrādāta programmatūras prasību specifikācija un programmatūras projektējuma apraksts, kuru mērķis ir palīdzēt jebkurai no iesaistītajām pusēm nepieciešamības gadījumā izprast sistēmas darbības principu. Sistēmas ietvaros izveidota aktualitāšu, pieteikumu pakalpojumiem forma, atskaites, lietotāju reģistrācija, pārvaldīšana un rēķinu izveidošana pēc sistēmā reģistrētajiem pieteikumiem semināriem vai konsultācijām.

Trophic ecology of piscivorous Arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus (L.)) in subarctic lakes with contrasting food-web structures

The trophic ecology of piscivorous Arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus (L.); charr) in the food webs of large subarctic lakes is not well understood. We assessed charr diets, parasites, growth, maturity, and stable isotope ratios in Fennoscandian subarctic lakes dominated by monomorphic or polymorphic whitefish (Coregonus lavaretus (L.)) populations. Charr density was low in all lakes, except in profundal habitats. Charr shifted to piscivory at small size (16–25 cm total length) and consumed a range of prey-fish sizes (2–25 cm). Cannibalism was observed in a few individuals from one monomorphic whitefish lake. Charr matured at 37–51 cm (5–8 years old), grew to 52–74 cm maximum observed length …

FM Olli Ylönen tutki työssään mitä haittavaikutuksia lisääntyvällä UV-B säteilyn määrällä voi olla taloudellisesti tärkeimpien sisävesien kalalajiemme, siian ja muikun, kannalta. Haitallisen UV-B säteilyn määrä on lisääntynyt viimeisten vuosikymmenten aikana maan pinnalla ja veden alla, ja sen ennustetaan lisääntyvän vielä noin vuoteen 2050 asti.Tutkimukset osoittivat selvästi, että kalat pystyvät välttelemään korkeita UV-B säteilyn tasoja sekä laboratoriossa että järvessä. Diet is one of the major factors directly and indirectly influencing insect’s life history traits and risk of getting infected. Additionally the insect’s fitness is severely affected by the broad diversity of parasites they are exposed to. As a consequence insects have developed well-evolved defences. Behavioural responses include self-medication, the ability of insects to change dietary intake in response to an infection. When studying this ability it is of major importance to consider the insects natural diet range. Testing and implementing a new approach to estimating interregional output multipliers using input-output data for South Korean regions

Flegg's location quotient (FLQ) is a useful tool for estimating intraregional output multipliers. This paper uses it as one component when estimating interregional multipliers. Using statistical information criteria and official data for 16 South Korean regions, it is found that the best approach is to combine the FLQ with a simple trade model. The paper explains how the proposed procedure can be implemented for both multiple and individual regions, and also how a region-specific value for the unknown parameter δ in the FLQ formula can be determined. Finally, an illustrative case study of one of the regions is carried out.
Pulicaria glutinosa Extract: A Toolbox to Synthesize Highly Reduced Graphene Oxide-Silver Nanocomposites

A green, one-step approach for the preparation of graphene/Ag nanocomposites (PE-HRG-Ag) via simultaneous reduction of both graphene oxide (GRO) and silver ions using Pulicaria glutinosa plant extract (PE) as reducing agent is reported. The plant extract functionalizes the surfaces of highly reduced graphene oxide (HRG) which helps in conjugating the Ag NPs to HRG. Increasing amounts of Ag precursor enhanced the density of Ag nanoparticles (NPs) on HRG. The preparation of PE-HRG-Ag nanocomposite is monitored by using ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX). We propose in this research a new solution regarding the existence and the content of the initial spacetime singularity. In the context of topological field theory we consider that the initial singularity of space-time corresponds to a zero size singular gravitational instanton characterized by a Riemannian metric configuration (++++) in dimension D = 4. Connected with some unexpected topological data corresponding to the zero scale of space-time, the initial singularity is thus not considered in terms of divergences of physical fields but can be resolved in the frame of topological field theory. This thesis aims to clarify these themes. Existing theories and models of repurchase intentions in travel and tourism, as well as interview data from visitors, will be used to identify the main determinants of revisit intentions.
